By comparing the WWE to Harvey Weinstein he’s trying to paint them as this big evil company while painting AEW as the fairly new, but popular alternative. (Pepsi vs Coke). He also plays the victim card. If someone says something about their product, it’s not because there is anything wrong with the actual product, it’s because it is irrational, illogical, untruthful, and nothing more than an attack on them.
Tony Khan is delusional. Saying what he just said is likely to have some pretty negative repercussions for both him and AEW. He consistently sounds like a whiny little bitch because his product cant match WWE in terms of…. well, anything, nor should it. Becoming as large and successful as WWE requires time and a lot of talented people both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
Harvey Weinstein had several women that he had assaulted. WWE put out bad shows for a long time. Not the same thing, Tony.
Wait, so AEW isn’t offering an alternative after all? It’s competing with WWE? I refuse to believe it. It’s where the best wrestle, dammit!
Also, why would you could compare yourself to an unhealthy soft drink and then compare that soft drink to a movie producer/sex offender? What’s the payoff in that?
And like him or hate him, you gotta admit that Bischoff is second only to Jim Cornette when it comes to the entertainment value in making fun of Tony Khan.
