Another WWE release
Von Wagner was also a part of the WWE releases last week, Fightful Select is reporting.
As previously reported, Fightful Select noted that the WWE releases of Jinder Mahal, Xia Li, Xyon Quinn and the Indus Sher duo of Veer and Sanga were cited internally as budget cuts, although what was told to the talent is unknown.
Nothing against the guy but he sucked. Couldn’t cut a promo, bland ring attire and basic in the ring. Should have been released over 2 years ago.
I thought it was a mistake not using the Bron steps angle to turn him into a Mankind or PCO character. His interactions with Robbie E’s kids was literally the only thing that made him entertaining his whole career.
Though i expect he is a victim much like Ali and ABE/Dana that while NXT had plans for them, with no main roster plans he was considered for the cuts.
