Notes on The Rascalz, Top Flight, and AEW being open to working with other promotions

– WWE recently signed Dezmond Xavier and Zachery Wentz, however, the third member of The Rascalz Trey Miguel didn’t join his two partners. It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Miguel simply hasn’t decided between WWE and AEW yet.

– Dave Meltzer is reporting that AEW’s attitude right now to to work with anyone. He also noted that AEW President Tony Khan has been in regular talks with Rocky Romero, who works in the NJPW office, now that Harold Meji has left New Japan Pro Wrestling. Harold Meji was the old president of New Japan and was thought to have been the reason why AEW and NJPW could never work out a partnership at the start.

– AEW has made several new signings lately with younger talent, including The Acclaimed and Top Flight. AEW is locking down talent for the foreseeable future, as their deals have been for five years. They are said to be doing this with younger talent that they are high on.
