AJ Styles Still Working on a New WWE Deal

PWInsider has an update on AJ Styles and his status with WWE. As previously reported, the former two-time WWE World champion denied he had signed a new deal with WWE to remain there for the “foreseeable future.”

According to PWInsider’s latest report, the two sides have been in talks for “some time,” and WWE is making a “strong play” to keep Styles on the roster. That version would make it appear AJ Styles was accurate when he denied having reached and signed a new deal.

As of now, it appears Styles remains unsigned to a new deal after his current one expires and is still in contract negotiations with WWE.
