Biography

- On January 8, 2000, Styles defeated K-Krush (Ron Killings) to capture the NWA Wildside Television title.
- Styles regained the NWA Wildside television title on January 6, 2001, when he defeated Air Paris in Cornelia, GA.
- Prior to the sale of WCW to WWF, Styles had a brief stint on WCW’s talent roster.
- Styles defeated Rick Michaels on December 22, 2001 to win the NWA Wildside/Georgia Heavyweight title.
- On April 13, 2002, Styles pinned Nova on the World Wrestling All-Stars “Eruption” PPV to win the WWA Cruiserweight title.
- On June 19, 2002, Styles became the first X division champion on TNA’s debut on PPV in Huntsville, AL.
- Styles and Jerry Lynn won a single night four team tag tournament on July 3, 2002 to claim the NWA World Tag Team title.
- Styles eventually turned heel and hired a manager, Mortimer Plumtree.
- Styles regained the X division title on October 23, 2002 by defeating Syxx-Pac in Nashville, AL.
