– As noted, Titus O’Neil was suspended 60 days for unprofessional conduct after playfully grabbing Vince McMahon’s arm at the end of the post-RAW Daniel Bryan retirement celebration on the WWE Network. Titus was suspended for 90 days at first but WWE reduced the suspension the next day. It’s been reported that Vince suspended Titus to make an example as he wants everyone to act professional and there have been a number of talents “riding the line” when it comes to following the company rules.

After the incident, Titus told WWE officials that he grabbed Vince because he was just trying to allow Stephanie McMahon to exit the stage first, according to former TMZ employee Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet. Once everything was over, Titus reportedly understood how the incident may have been perceived differently by other people.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross reported on his blog that he heard Titus was also fined “in the neighborhood” of $5,000.

Below are videos of the incident and Titus’ “ladies first” claim does make sense.
