Becky Lynch, Cora Jade, and Nikkita Lyons notes
– Becky Lynch was supposed to take a break from WWE and spend time with family. However, Rhea Ripley got injured, leaving a major space vacant in the women’s division on RAW. Becky answered the call and canceled her break to become the Women’s World Champion and ensure that the RAW ratings do not decline.

I had a suspicion about Becky. With Rhea’s injury they were likely scrambling, and putting the title on someone they know can carry it (and just competed for it, so it’s believable) buys them some time to rework their plans. Even if it’s just a short reign and then she goes on her break, it was probably the right call, and kudos to Becky for making that sacrifice. I’d also be interested to know if this will change plans for the draft, though you can’t possibly account for every injury that might happen.
