Cathy Kelley nearly signed with AEW

Cathy Kelley met with Tony Khan in person earlier this year about signing with AEW as an on-air backstage correspondent, according to a report from PWInsider.

Things were going very well and the deal was almost finalized, but for unknown reasons, plans fell through.

Kelley instead returned to the WWE earlier this month.
