Emi Sakura heading to the AEW Women’s division
Emi Sakura, the 44-year-old Japanese pro wrestler who had a couple of matches in AEW, has revealed in a social media post that she is moving to the United States with a one-way ticket to be part of the AEW women’s division moving forward.
Her most recent appearance for AEW came during the Women’s title number one contender’s tournament where she was part of the Japanese bracket. She was eliminated in the semi final by Yuka Sakazaki.
Sakura had an AEW Women’s title match at Full Gear in 2019 but was unsuccessful in beating Riho who was the champion back then.
I decided to go to America with a one-way ticket. Please look forward to what happens to #ChocoPro from now on. We are, ChocoPro & we like a challenge.
