Biography

– Bononi began his sporting life playing American Football in his native Brazil
– He soon transitioned to wrestling, adopting the name ‘V8 Big Block’, later shortened simply to ‘V8’
– On July 19, 2015, V8 defeated Sonico to win the BWF Rei Do Ringue Title
– On September 7, V8 defeated Sonico to retain the BWF Rei Do Ringue Title
– In October 2015, it was announced that Bononi had signed with WWE and would be reporting to the Performance Center
– Bononi made his NXT debut at a live event on February 6, 2016, teaming with Kenneth Crawford in a loss to Thomas Kingdon & King Constantine
– Bononi made his televised debut in May 2017, losing in short order to Aleister Black
– Bononi would make several more appearances as an enhancement talent through 2017 and early 2018, as well as picking up a surprise win over Andrade Almas
– In April 2020, Bononi was released by WWE
– Bononi would soon start competing for AEW, primarily working their Youtube shows
– In May 2023, Bononi left AEW and would largely walk away from wrestling, returning only for occasional shows at his local independent promotion, Boca Raton Championship Wrestling
