8/21/19 WWE NXT UK Results

1. Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) defeated The Hunt (Wild Boar and Primate)

-Sid Scala announces Noam Dar and Travis Banks will go one-on-one at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff.

-“Hate You” by Boston Manor is one of the official theme songs for TakeOver: Cardiff.

-Aichner and Barthel hear a commotion in their locker room and investigate, but they get beaten down as well.

2. Kay Lee Ray defeated Shax
-After the match, Ray cuts a promo. Ray says she knows exactly what kind of weak and fragile individual that Toni Storm can be. She says she is going to take the NXT UK Women’s Championship at TakeOver: Cardiff. Storm interrupts and comes to the ring. Ray says she knows why Storm wants to spend so much time away from home and it’s because she doesn’t have the support that Ray does. Ray says Storm always blame it on everybody else and never thought to think that it was her own fault. Ray says Storm is the reason that they aren’t friends anymore and the reason why her friends and family don’t call her. Ray says Storm is the reason her father left her, and Storm slaps Ray across the face. Ray backs up the ramp and smirks as Storm stares her down.

-A video hype package for the feud between Dave Mastiff and Joe Coffey airs. They will battle in a Last Man Standing Match at TakeOver: Cardiff.

-A vignette for Oliver Carter airs. He debuts next week.

-Jordan Devlin is backstage. He says the TakeOver: Cardiff card isn’t stacked because he isn’t on it. He asks what he has to do to get noticed. Kenny Williams interrupts and says Devlin is always complaining. Williams says he isn’t on the card and challenges Devlin to a match next week.

-Walter and Alexander Wolfe are backstage. He is wondering that happened to Aichner and Barthel and says he is a man of his word and wants Tyler Bate face-to-face tonight.

3. Singles Match; if Andrews wins, he and Flash Morgan Webster get added to the NXT UK Tag Team Championship Match at TakeOver: Cardiff
Mark Andrews (w/Flash Morgan Webster) defeated James Drake (w/Zack Gibson)

-Trent Seven comes through the crowd and gets in the ring. Walter comes out with Wolfe, but Bate beats down Wolfe with a chair. Seven delivers an uppercut to Walter and Bate hits him with the chair. They beat down Walter for a bit and and then Bate drops Walter with the Tyler Driver 97. Bate holds the WWE United Kingdom Championship in the air and stands over Walter.
