SmackDown Results July 9

SmackDown kicks of with highlights of Kevin Owens attacking Dolph Ziggler and Shane McMahon sending him home and cancelling the Main Event tonight. Shane McMahon says he has ideas.

When we go live Kevin Owens comes out complaining and says Shane gets more TV time than anyone else and he  announces he is the Best in the World. Shane McMahon comes out and then says you need to stop talking and has people cut his microphone, he gets another one and speaks and Shane goes to technical team and as that microphone cut off. Shane calls out security to escort him out and Kevin runs away with security following after him.

Tonight there will a Tag Team Summit featuring teams in Triple Tag Team Championship Match and then Otis Vs Xavier Woods Vs Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat Match. We find out who is Aleister Black Extreme Rules opponent. Up next it is Shinsuke Nakamura Vs WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor in a Non-Title match

Non-Title Singles Match
WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor  Vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Match starts with Nakamura in control with kicks to Balor and Balor is down in the corner.

Commercial break

When we return Nakamura in control and takes down Balor, Balor regains control and nails a Slingblade. Balor with a elbow across the throat for a two count. Balor goes for Slingblade but countered with a sliding German Suplex on Balor by Nakamura. Nakamura goes for running kick and Balor drops him and goes for Coup De Gras but missed. Balor on Mat and Nakamura kicks him off the apron. Nakamura sends Balor into post and then wall. Both men back in the ring at 9 count.

Nakamura takes Balor back outside and nails his Kinshasha Knee Strike and Balor gets back in at 9 and then Balor sent outside and running kick and Balor back in at 9 again and then a Kinshasha for the win.

Winner via Pinfall Shinsuke Nakamura

Backstage Shane McMahon is with Drew McIntyre and Elias and Dolph Ziggler comes in and says he wants a match and Shane says since you are ready you will face Roman Reigns tonight.

We see Bayley walking backstage to come to the ring for her contract signing.

We see highlights of feud between Samoa Joe and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. We hear from Samoa Joe who says he knows who you are and at Extreme Rules I will beat you down and put you to sleep

Kayla Braxton is in the ring and introduces Nikki Cross whose representing Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Next out is Bayley. Kayla asks Bayley why she attacks you after announcement. Alexa didn’t show up again. Bayley says we are lot alike, we both got manipulated and people cared about me when they needed help and I became champion on your own. Cross you attacked me unprovoked last night, Bliss knows I can handle myself. Bayley says are you okay with this helping someone win a championship. Bayley says I am at bad odds and I will do anything to win. What happens when Alexa Bliss loses and blames you. Nikki says I want to help my friend because your friends abandoned you and when we win we will become first Co-SmackDown Womens Champions and stick around to see my match against Carmella.

Womens Singles Match
Carmella Vs Nikki Cross

Cross in control of Carmella with kicks to Carmella and a low dropkick for a two count, Carmella with a chinlock and then Carmella rolls her up for a two count.  Clothesline to Carmella by Cross. Carmella slaps Nikki Cross, Carmella nails a Bronco Buster in the corner and Cross with a Neckbreaker for a two count. Cross with a spinning neckbreaker for the win.

We see Kabuki Warriors win over Womens tag team champions in Japan and then see Paige saying we want our title match. Peyton says she is not well. Paige slaps Peyton.

Sarah Schriber interviews Roman Reigns about match tonight and Dolph Ziggler isn’t ready for me and at Extreme Rules Shane and Drew McIntyre will REST in PEACE.

Tag Team Summit

The New Day come out and Xavier Woods says he has a match against Otis and Daniel Bryan. Big E says we can all be involved and become 6 time tag team champions. Daniel Bryan and Rowan come out and you are booing me but should boo New Day, despite me winning and they come out gyrating and people wonder why they are not taking it seriously, when they win they are not taken seriously. Xavier says you talk too much and want to hear what Rowan has to say, first you took orders from Bray, then Harper and now Daniel Bryan, we don’t know who is your daddy, Rowan gets upset, Bryan says they deflect criticism with humour, New Day has had some of the best title match and are a comedy act and worse thing for the tag team division and worse than New Day winning is those bafoons Heavy Machinery winning it. Heavy Machinery come out and Tucker says at our first PPV we took you to the limit. We showed you what we meant, got back to work, and last week we beat Ziggler and Owens to earn this match. We overcome any obstacle including winning over The New Day as we will become New Tag Team Champions. Otis says we have a match and I am coming.

Triple Threat Singles Match
Otis w/Tucker Vs Xavier Woods w/Big E Vs 1/2 of SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan w/1/2 of SmackDown Tag Team Champions Rowan

Match starts and Daniel Bryan exits and then Bryan comes in and attacks Otis but is sent into the corner, Otis nails a double suplex on Bryan and Woods, Otis suplexes Daniel Bryan. Rowan attacks Woods then Tucker attacks Rowan and then Big E gets involved and Big E and Tucker send Rowan over the announce table. Referee kicks out Tucker, Rowan and Big E.

Commercial break

When we return match has restarted and Woods sends Bryan into security wall, Bryan sent back in the ring and a drop kick to Bryan for a two count. Daniel Bryan hooks in the Labelle Lock on Xavier Woods but Otis breaks the hold. Bryan with kicks to Otis, Otis with spin drop on Daniel Bryan into a slam, wheel kick by Woods to Otis, caught by Otis and Woods suplexed. Splash in corner first to Woods then Bryan, Otis nails the Caterpillar drop on Daniel Bryan. Gutbuster to Daniel Bryan by Woods. Otis with a slam on Xavier Woods for the win.

We see highlights of the implosion between Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler last week and then Owens and Ziggler battling in the parking lot and match cancelled

We see a party backstage and Ember Moon is there and Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville say find yourself a partner and we have a tag team match next week.

Aleister Black opponent for Extreme Rules revealed next.

Commercial break

We see a video by Ali talking about him facing his evil.

Commentators interview Aleister Black and they say your opponent has decided not to reveal himself. Black says I don’t care who you are and will just walk out and someone appears and walks round and it is revealed to be Cesaro, Cesaro says I knocked at your door because I want to pick a fight with you, Black says oh very good, this Sunday I am going to fight you. Aleister Black leaves.

Sarah Schrieber asks Shelton Benjamin if he thinks if Dolph Ziggler wins against if he is the one, Benjamin says no and leave.

We see Kayla Braxton and she interviews Kofi Kingston about his WWE Championship against Samoa Joe at Extreme Rules. I will become one of the greatest champions of all time when I win this Sunday.

Singles Match
Roman Reigns Vs Dolph Ziggler

Before match begins Shane McMahon, Drew McIntyre and Elias comes out and joins commentary and Gregg Hamilton does Best in the World Introduction.

Ziggler in control and drops reigns with a drop kick and a short DDT for a two count. Ziggler goes for shot in corner but Reigns nails a uppercut. Reigns nails the Drive By. Behind referees back McIntyre sends Reigns into the ring post. Ziggler sends Reigns into the security wall. Ziggler with a elbow drop for a two count. Ziggler with a neck breaker on Reigns for a two count.  Rear chinlock on Reigns by Ziggler. Neckbreaker countered into a Samoan Drop, both men down. Ziggler up at 5. Reigns with a clothesline. Forearm to Ziggler. Chops in the corner to Ziggler. Running boot by Roman Reigns. Reigns goes for Superman punch but Elias distracts him and a Zig Zag by Ziggler for a two count.  Superman Punch to Ziggler for a two count. McIntyre pulls out Ziggler and then Reigns dives on top, Shane McMahon gets in the ring and Kevin Owens appears out of nowhere and nails a stunner on Shane McMahon then a spear by Roman Reigns for the win.
