SmackDown kicks of with AJ Styles coming out and says how he missed SmackDown Live, AJ says Mr McMahon instituted a wildcard rule if you are brave enough and crossover to a rival brand and crash the brand, I wanted to be the first to do it, because SmackDown Live is the house that AJ Styles built. Music of Sami Zayn hits and he says I don’t want to be here either and be somewhere else than surrounded by Kentucky Fried Hillbillies, that is why I had to take advantage and no-one would call you out and stop your ego which has spiralled out of control. AJ says my nose is burning, you should have had a shower because of Strowman dumping you, Zayn says I had a shower. Music of New Day hits.
Kofi Kingston says you are not inviting the champion, Kofi says you have an amazing catchphrase but don’t live here anymore, What are you doing here tonight? AJ says were you not on Raw last night, I came to return the favor champ, Xavier says you should check yourself before you wreck yourself, Kofi says I am the champion, you came to SmackDown Live and stand in the ring, what you want to do about it, Sami says stop this right now, Sami says don’t give AJ a title and these people are not happy with you and please the crowd to your detrement and if anyone deserves a championship match it is me because he deserves it because then they will hear it. Kofi says what is that smell, seriously what is that smell? (Crowd shout take a shower)
Xavier says you smell like my sock drawer, Kofi says I defended my title last night on Raw to show I am not a fluke but a fighting champion, I want to defend this title again tonight against anyone and I will remain as WWE Champion.
We are told new SmackDown Tag Team Champions will be crowned tonight, Carmella and Ember take on Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose,
We see a VT of Kevin Owens who says it is my birthday, I don’t want to be here tonight but at Money in The Bank I am taking your title.

We are informed a WWE Championship Triple Threat Match tonight.
Singles Match – Andrade Vs Ali
Before the match we see a video from Ali taking his opportunity at Money in The Bank and win the contract.
Zelina Vega says in 2 weeks, people will gather to watch Money in The Bank PPV but unlike the Kentucky Derby there is only one thoroughbred Andrade, Andrade says he will win the Ladder Match and I will become Mr Money in the Bank and you will become envious of the success of Andrade.
Andrade with a chop to Ali, Ali gains control and sends Andrade to the outside and then Andrade chop blocks Ali and he falls in timekeeper area

When we return Randy Orton appears out of nowhere and attacks Andrade till Zelina helps and then Randy Orton attacked from behind and dropped with RKO and then Andrade tries high flying move and dropped with a RKO.

We see a video package of the career of Roman Reigns.

Shane McMahon comes out to announce about situation to do with vacant SmackDown Tag Team Championship. We see VT of Shane McMahon attacking The Miz on Raw. Shane says last night I was brutally attacked by The Miz last night on Raw with a steel chair, I find actions of The Miz disgusting but you see he didn’t get done and he won’t at Money in The Bank, I will be announced the winner. Bringing my attention to SmackDown Tag Team Division which the titles had to be vacated due to Jeff Hardy attacked by Lars Sullivan, Shane McMahon says I was looking through the division and saw the worthiness of a specific team and introduces…. Music of Daniel Bryan and Rowan. They both come out and Shane McMahon hands them the belts and The Usos come out say Woah, Woah you need to wait a minute, Shane says you are on Raw, The Usos says the Wildcard rule allowed us on SmackDown. You are just handing the belts away, last time we checked we had to earn that, everyone earned it, you are handing championship to Beavis and Butthead, Ren and Stimpy and how about a match to crown new champions and give us once more, Shane McMahon says I am agreeing to this match and will happen now and can’t wait to see Daniel Bryan and Rowan kick your ass back to raw, Shane calls for a referee.

Tag Team Match for Vacant SmackDown Tag Team Championship
Challengers: Daniel Bryan and Rowan Vs Challengers: The Usos – Jimmy and Jey
Match starts with Jimmy and Daniel Bryan, Jimmy in control of Bryan, Rowan tagged in. Rowan in control of Jimmy Uso, Bryan tagged in, Rowan and Bryan kick Jimmy Uso one after the other in the corner.
Rowan in control of Jimmy Uso with a neck vice hold, Jimmy sends Rowan into corner and then Jimmy knocks down Daniel Bryan and then Rowan takes down Jimmy Uso as we go to commercial break.

When we return Jimmy is taken down with a chop block, Daniel Bryan with kicks to Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso tagged in and super kick to Bryan, Jey goes for a frog splash but Bryan gets his knees up and locks in the Labelle Lock but Daniel Bryan reverses it and then Jey tries to roll up Daniel Bryan for a two count. Rowan and Jimmy tagged in and Jimmy off the top rope caught and goes for move but missed, kicks to Rowan, Iron Claw by Rowan then a double superkick, Jey dives through the rope onto Daniel Bryan meanwhile splash by Jimmy on Rowan for a two count.
Jimmy and Jey go to opposite corners for a splash but Daniel sends Jimmy off the rope, Rowan sent outside and a double dive but Claw grab and knee to Jimmy and then Rowan drops Jey Uso with a Iron Claw for the win.

We see Firefly Fun House clip.

Shane McMahon is in the ring with the Money in The Bank briefcases and says whoever wins the ladder match is almost guaranteed to become champion, it is a most brutal and physical matches (The Miz appears through the crowd and attacks Shane McMahon sending him out the ring and into the barricade, up the ramp and towards the backstage area, Miz beats down Shane McMahon till The B-Team appear and beat down The Miz down as Shane McMahon escapes but Miz fights off both of them till Shane McMahon comes back with a steel chair, Shane slams chair across the back of The Miz and then Shane McMahon leaves.
We see Rowan and Daniel Bryan walking backstage and walk into Heavy Machinery who wish them congratulations and the champions walk away.

Womens Tag Team Match
Ember Moon and Carmella Vs Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose
Match starts with Ember Moon and Sonya Deville, Ember in control and tags in Rose, Ember takes out Sonya Deville and then a kick to Ember by Mandy Rose for the win.
Winners via Pinfall Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville
Paige comes out with Asuka and Kari Sane and says we will work through the division starting with you next week Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.
We see Charly Caruso interviews Matt Hardy till R-Truth comes and they discuss being beaten by Lars Sullivan till he stands behind them, Charly leaves then Matt Hardy leaves and then R-Truth is powerbombed through a table.
We see Aleister Black talking about wrath and salvation and to his opponents I must apologise because I need to succeed at your peril and now ask for forgiveness and seek absolution in form of victory.
Triple Threat Match for WWE Championship
Challenger: Sami Zayn Vs Challenger: “Phenomenal” AJ Styles Vs Champion: Kofi Kingston
The three stare down, AJ kicks Kingston then goes after Zayn, Kingston with a dropkick to AJ Styles then a splash for a two count, AJ in control, Kofi climbs to the top and nails a splash on back of AJ Styles for a two count. Styles in control and Kofi drops Styles and then nails a Boom Drop, Sami Zayn pulls out AJ Styles and is in control as we go to break
Commercial
When we return all men in the ring and Kofi Kingston breaks a pinfall up, Zayn suplexes Kingston of the top rope. Sami goes for the pin but only got a 2 count, Zayn goes to superplex AJ but he escapes, Styles with a punch to Zayn in the corner, AJ nails a suplex on Zayn of the top rope, AJ drops Kingston with a Yoshigaroshi knee drop.
Kingston in control of AJ Styles, Kick to AJ by Kingston, boot to Kingston by Styles in the corner, Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm but blocked by Kingston who drops him with Trouble in Paradise.
Kevin Owens appears and attacks Xavier Woods and leaves. Sami Zayn drops Kingston with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a two count, 2nd one for another two count. Zayn nails a 3rd Blue Thunder Bomb for a two count. Zayn goes for a helluva kick but countered into a Trouble in Paradise for the win to retain title.
Winner via Pinfall and still WWE Champion Kofi Kingston
Kofi checks on Xavier Woods on the outside. Kayla Braxton asks if Kevin Owens in head of Kofi and he says at Money in The Bank there will be hell to pay as SmackDown ends
