10/17/17 WWE 2015 Live Recap: Swann vs. Gallagher; Gulak’s Power Point Continues; Kalisto/Ali vs. Amore/Daivari Main Event

205 Live opens with a recap from last night’s Raw and focuses on the 5-on-2 beat down from Enzo Amore, Ariya Daivari, Noam Dar, Drew Gulak, and Tony Nese on Kalisto and Mustafa Ali. We see the 205 Live opening video and then Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show. Joseph and McGuinness informs us of tonight’s card: Amore and Daivari vs. Ali and Kalisto, and Rich Swann vs. Gentleman Jack Gallagher.

Enzo Amore’s music hits and he makes his way out. Amore says he is going to beat Kalisto so badly that Kalisto will end up in the hospital and will have to watch the Zo Show from his hospital bed. He says the WWE Universe has never done anything for him and he will be back on top of the mountain this Sunday at TLC. Kalisto rushes the ring and takes Amore down. Kalisto goes for Solida Del Sol, but Amore shoves him away and escapes the ring.

We take a look back to an episode of 205 Live from last month, where Gentleman Jack Gallagher turned on Cedric Alexander and joined forces with The Brian Kendrick. It then transitions into Alexander getting even with Gallagher and Kendrick, and then last night’s Raw when Rich Swann joined Alexander in his corner during Alexander’s match against Gallagher. We see that Swann and Gallagher will go one-on-one up next.

Match #1: Gentleman Jack Gallagher (w/The Brian Kendrick) vs. Rich Swann (w/Cedric Alexander)
Swann kicks Gallagher in the face and then takes him down with a hurricanrana. Gallagher roll to the floor, but Alexander tells him to get into the ring as Kendrick pulls Swann out of the ring on the other side. Gallagher tosses Swann back into the ring and applies a rear chin-lock down on the mat. Gallagher slams Swann to the mat, but Swann begins to fight back. Gallagher takes Swann back down and then slams him into the turnbuckle. Gallagher goes for a suplex, but Swann blocks it. Gallagher converts with a dropkick and goes for the cover, but Swann kicks out at two. Gallagher applies a chin-bar submission down on the mat and then turns it into a rear naked choke. Gallagher tosses Swann to the mat and stomps on his face and then chokes him over the middle rope. Gallagher delivers a few uppercuts in the corner, but Swann comes back with uppercuts of his own. Gallagher drops down and takes Swann down and stomps on the back of his knees.
Gallagher applies a modified ankle lock and drops his knee into Swann’s knee a few times. Swann kicks his way free and drops Gallagher with a few clotheslines. Swann delivers a neck-breaker and goes for the cover, but Gallagher kicks out at two. Swann goes up top, but Gallagher cuts him off and lifts him on his shoulders. Swann gets free and delivers a Tiger Driver and goes for the cover, but Gallagher kicks out at two. Gallagher goes to the outside and Swann goes to dive, but Kendrick holds up the ring bell. Alexander takes out Kendrick and Gallagher slams Alexander into the barricade. Swann gets to the floor, but he and Kendrick double team Swann and cause the disqualification.
Winner via disqualification: Rich Swann.
After the match, Swann comes back and takes out Kendrick on the floor as Alexander drops Gallagher in the ring. Swann goe sup top, but Gallagher escapes with Kendrick on the floor as Swann and Alexander look on from the ring.

We see Drew Gulak walking backstage and to the ring as we head to a break.

Drew Gulak makes his way to the ring and says since the WWE Universe continues to ignore his commands in his Power Point presentation, he was forced to take action. We see footage of Gulak’s attack on Akira Tozawa from last week’s show. He says he will no longer sit idly by while someone annoying like Tozawa breaks the rules. Gulak says he rendered Tozawa’s “AH!” chant useless when he hit him in the throat with his “No Chants” sign last week. We then take a look at Proposal #9 in Gulak’s Power Point presentation for a Better 205 Live. We see that Proposal #9 is No Defying Authority. The crowd chants “This is boring,” and Gulak says that’s fine and says ignorance is no excuse. He says this Sunday at TLC he will give a refresher course on a special Championship Edition for his plan for a better 205 Live.

Joseph and McGuiness run down the Cruiserweight Division’s matches and segments for TLC on Sunday and then we see that Ariya Daivari and Enzo Amore vs. Kalisto and Mustafa Ali will happen after the break.

Match #2: Kalisto and Mustafa Ali vs. Enzo Amore and Ariya Daivari
Kalisto and Daivari start the match as Amore watches from the floor. Kalisto takes Daivari down with a dropkick, but Amore distracts Kalisto and Daivari drops him to the mat. Kalisto comes back and drops Daivari and tags in Ali. Ali takes Daivari down with a seated senton and tags Kalisto back in. Amore provides the distraction again and Daivari sends Kalisto to the floor. Amore gets a cheap shot on Kalisto on the floor and Daivari tosses him back into the ring. Amore tags in and stomps away on Kalisto in the corner. Daivari and Amore exchange quick tags and keep stomping away on Kalisto in the corner.
Amore drops Kalisto with a flat-liner and goes for the cover, but Kalisto kicks out at two. Amore drops Kalisto with a right hand and goes for the cover, but Kalisto kicks out again. Kalisto tries to fight back, but Amore shoves him out to the floor and tags in Daivari. Daivari slams Kalisto into the ring apron and then tosses him back into the ring. Daivari goes for the cover, but Kalisto kicks out at two. Daivari delivers a suplex and goes for the cover, but Kalisto kicks out again. Daivari applies a rear naked choke down on the mat and then sends Kalisto out to the floor. Amore goes for a cheap shot, but Kalisto takes him down. Daivari drops Kalisto down with a clothesline and goes for the cover, but Kalisto kicks out at two.
Daivari goes for another suplex, but Kalisto counters with a DDT. Ali and Amore tag in and Ali takes control of the match. Ali kicks Amore in the head and drops him with a neck-breaker. Ali goes for the cover, but Amore kicks out at two. Ali slams Amore in the corner and then takes him up top. Amore shoves Ali off and dives, but Ali catches him with a dropkick. Ali goes for the cover, but Daivari breaks it up. Ali tosses Daivari to the floor and takes him out with a cross-body as Kalisto tags in. Kalisto drops Amore with a cross-body and then drops him with the Solida Del Sol and gets the pin fall.
Winners: Kalisto and Mustafa Ali.
After the match, Kalisto takes Daivari and Amore out with a suicide dive and beats down Amore. Amore gets free as Ali comes to the outside as well. Amore crawls up the ramp as referees pull Kalisto back. Kalisto raises the Cruiserweight Championship in the air in the ring as Amore looks on from the ramp as 205 Live comes to a close.
