We are reminded that Tyler Bate will defend the WWE United Kingdom Championship against Trent Seven next week. We then take a closer look at Tyler Bate.

Bobby Roode’s music hits and the NXT Champion makes his way to the ring. He says match after match and TakeOver after TakeOver, he proved just that. He says Shinsuke Nakamura ran roughshod over Japan for a decade and beat everybody in NXT for almost a year except for Bobby Roode. Roode says Nakamura hit him with everything he had, but it wasn’t enough. Roode says the single greatest moment in NXT history was when he held the title over his head after beating Nakamura, but now NXT had a real champion. Roode says he is THE champion and now every ad, billboard, TV commercial, and every city and country has been “We Are NXT,” but now it is “My NXT.” Roode says and this new NXT is going to be simply… GLORIOUS!
