CM Punk Clarifies Tweet on Susan G. Komen, Says He Wasn’t Talking About Wrestling
– As noted last night, CM Punk took a shot at Susan G. Komen on Twitter:
If you're going to give money to a company that claims to raise money for finding a cure for cancer, please do some research.Komen is a scam
— Coach (@CMPunk) October 6, 2015
This obviously led to backlash from WWE fans as the company promoted their annual campaign with Komen on last night’s RAW. Punk, who is currently involved in a legal battle with WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann, was quick to point out that he did not mention wrestling. Here are his follow-up tweets:
@MrCreepyBoss I'm talking about people collecting money for themselves in the name of breast cancer and you're talking about fake wrestling.
— Coach (@CMPunk) October 6, 2015
@JohnCenaFTW1 didn't mention wrestling at all.

@Stephen_R96 no. It has nothing to do with wrestling.

The truth is never popular. Fuck all you crazy asses. Read a book.

@AdamentlyPoised I hated on nobody. I didn't mention wrestling at all.

It’s worth noting that Punk showed support for the campaign back in 2013 while still with the company. He appears in this promotional video and says, “Never stop fighting.”
