More on the departure of a WWE executive

Mar 15, 2012 - by Steve Gerweck

As we recently noted, WWE dismissed Ty Bailey on 3/9. Bailey was originally the guy John Laurinaitis had put in charge of developmental. When Triple H gained control of WWE developmental, Bailey started to report directly to him. The book on Bailey was that he had minimal wrestling product knowledge. His father was a longtime National Football League executive, including working as a General Manager, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He first came to work for the McMahon family as part of the XFL in management. He was brought back to work in talent relations under Laurinaitis.
