Oct 22, 2010 - by Jason Graening

A recap of last week’s show that featured the formation of Immortal kicks off Impact. Mr. Anderson’s music then fills the Impact Zone as he comes down to the ring with his left arm in a sling. Anderson calls Jeff Hardy out to the ring, but Rob Van Dam instead comes out and joins Anderson in the ring. RVD tells Anderson to wait in line for a title that RVD never actually lost.

Jeff Hardy appears on the big screen and says that they are all messed up but he did both of them wrong. Hardy asks them both for forgiveness as Eric Bischoff’s music hits and he comes out of the entrance tunnel. Bischoff says he feels somewhat responsible for Anderson’s injury and also wants his forgiveness.

Bischoff says he doesn’t think he has challenged Anderson enough and decides to book Kazarian in an Ultimate X match, and if he wins he will get a title shot at Turning Point. As for RVD, he will be teaming up with Sabu to face Beer Money and tries to plant an idea in his head that people have been calling him on the phone wanting to join Immortal.

A new Impact intro hits as we are welcomed to this week’s show that will feature the in-ring debut of Mickie James, Beer Money against RVD & Sabu and Kazarian against Mr. Anderson in an Ultimate X match. We are then treated to some TMZ footage of Shore as Cookie is complaining about last weeks confrontation with Jwoww as we head into a commercial break.

For good measure, the group Ices Ric Flair one more time as Eric Bischoff walks in and says in order to make a fair regime, he orders that if anyone from Fortune interferes in the Television Title match, Styles will forfeit the title to the Pope. Fortune is dumbfounded with the move and Bischoff says it is a order handed down by Hulk Hogan.
