We see the video of Vince McMahon’s big reveal from Friday, where he gave us a sneak peak at the WrestleMania 29 set. We go live into MetLife Stadium, where Josh Mathews and Matt Striker are on commentary. They hype up various ways to watch the show, and tell fans to Tout their favorite WrestleMania moments. They toss it to Scott Stanford, who is with Jim Ross, Dusty Rhodes, and Kofi Kingston. Ross says he is just as excited for tonight as he was for his debut in 1993. Kingston says the WWE has come full circle and has come home tonight. Rhodes says there are issues to be solved and careers on the line and the show will be “something big.” We transition into the video hype package for the Alberto Del Rio/Jack Swagger feud.

Ross says this is not the same Swagger that he met at the University of Oklahoma. Ross says Del Rio has to be perfectly focused tonight, to which Kingston says Del Rio is fired up and ready to go. Rhodes says Del Rio will grab that dream and prove he is the better man tonight. We transition into a video showing how far various fans traveled to make it to WrestleMania 29. We then get the hype video for the Brock Lesnar/Triple H feud.

Rhodes says this is nothing more than a fight and he doesn’t know who’s going to win. Kingston says he also doesn’t know. Ross says Lesnar is a monster and it’s going to be a long night for Triple H. Stanford tosses it to Tony Dawson, who is tailgating with the fans.

We go backstage and see Snooki, who is tonight’s Social Media Ambassador. The Miz walks up and calls her a MILF, “Mother I’d Like to Friend.” She says, “Oh, I thought you meant the other thing.” Barrett walks in and tells Snooki to tweet how badly he will beat The Miz, and Miz tells her to Tweet about how he will be taking the Intercontinental Championship. Barrett walks away, and Snooki compliments Miz on his spray-tan.

We go back to Striker and Mathews, who highlight the feud between Ryback and Mark Henry. We go backstage and it’s interview time with Henry. Henry says he saw Ryback gasping for air and flat on his face in that video, and he will be doing it again tonight. Henry says Ryback is right that tonight will be memorable, because tonight is the night that Ryback will be entered in the Hall of Pain. Kingston says we will finally find out who the man is tonight. Rhodes says Henry is a bad man, but Ryback will be fed more tonight. Ross says experience counts at WrestleMania. We then see some highlights from the Press Conference a few days ago. We go into the video hype package for the CM Punk/Undertaker feud. Ross says CM Punk has been the MVP of WWE, but Taker will go 21-0.

We go back outside of MetLife Stadium, where Tony Dawson is still tailgating with some fans. We see video clips of various fans telling their predictions. We go back into the arena, where we take a look at some fans’ Tout videos on their favorite WrestleMania moments.

We take a look at the hype video for The Shield vs. Randy Orton, Sheamus, and The Big Show. Rhodes says if The Shield is going to be stopped, it will be tonight. Kingston says The Shield is clicking on all cylinders. Ross says The Shield will win their debut at WrestleMania. Stanford kicks it down to ringside, and it’s time for the Intercontinental Championship Match.

After the match, Stanford, Ross, Kingston, and Rhodes talk about the Cena/Rock main event. Kingston says it is a must-win for Cena. Rhodes says Cena’s loss ate at him for a year and he will go all out to become Champion again. Ross says they better throw their respect out of the window and if it goes under 30 minutes, Rock wins. If it goes over 30, Cena wins. Kingston says Cena has to stay focused no matter what. Rhodes says it will be an epic battle.We then see the hype video for the Rock/Cena feud and the pre-show comes to an end.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Wade Barrett (c) vs. The Miz

They tie up and Barrett sends Miz off the ropes. Barrett kicks Miz in the midsection a few times and sends Miz off the ropes again. Miz slides under the ropes and rolls Barrett up for a two count. Barrett comes back and takes Miz down. Barrett delivers a big right hand and sets Miz up on the top rope. Barrett clubs Miz on the back and slams him to the mat. Barrett goes for a cover, but Miz kicks out at two. Barrett sets Miz up in the ropes and delivers a few right hands, but Miz comes back and takes Barrett down. Miz takes control and floats over into a pin attempt, but Barrett kicks out at two. Barrett comes back and sets Miz up for Wasteland, but Miz counters and goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Barrett reverses. Barrett takes Miz and slams him down to the mat and goes for the cover, but Miz kicks out at two. Barrett sets up for the Bull Hammer Elbow, but Miz dodges and goes for the Figure Four Leglock. He locks it in, but Barrett gets to the ropes. Barrett rakes Miz’s eyes and nails Miz with Wasteland, but Miz kicks out at two. Miz comes back and takes Barrett down and locks in the Figure Four and Barrett taps out.
Winner and new WWE Intercontinental Champion: The Miz.

WrestleMania 29 opens with a video package telling about the destruction caused on the East Coast by Superstorm Sandy and how the recovery efforts led to tonight. We go live into MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and JBL are on commentary.

We see the opening hype video for the pay-per-view. Back inside the Stadium, Cole, Lawler, and JBL welcome us to the show. The Six-Man Tag will kick things off tonight.

Reigns and Sheamus start the match. They brawl into the corner and Reigns gets the upperhand before Sheamus takes him down with a clothesline. Sheamus keeps control and hits another clothesline, but only gets a one count. Sheamus tags in Orton, who stomps away on Reigns. Reigns fights back and clubs Orton on the back and tags in Rollins. Orton takes Rollins down and then tosses him into the corner. Orton delivers ten right hands to Rollins and then slams him down to the mat. Orton tags in Sheamus, but Rollins dropkicks his knee. Rollins tags Ambrose and they stomp Sheamus down in the corner. Ambrose takes Sheamus to the middle, but Sheamus picks him up and slams him down. Sheamus goes to tag Orton, but Show tags himself in. Show rips off Ambrose vest and chops him in the corner. Show smashes Ambrose in the corner and comes off the ropes, but Ambrose takes out his knee. Ambrose tags in Rollins, who keeps Show grounded. Rollins tags in Reigns, who takes Show down with a flying forearm and gets a two count. Reigns stomps away on Show and tags in Ambrose, who also stomps away. Ambrose chokes Show over the bottom rope, and Rollins tags in. Rollins kicks Show under the chin a couple of times, and Show falls to the mat. Rollins goes for the cover, but Show kicks out at two. Rollins tags in Reigns, who keeps Show grounded with a headlock. Show gets out of it by slamming Reigns to the mat. Reigns tags in Rollins, who knocks Orton to the floor. Show shoves Rollins away, and tags in Sheamus. Sheamus takes Rollins down with a knee lift. Sheamus delivers the ten clubbing shots to Rollins. Ambrose tags in, but Sheamus delivers the ten clubs to him as well. Sheamus delivers the rolling senton to Ambrose and Rollins. Reigns gets Sheamus to the outside, but Orton makes the save briefly. The Shield triple-teams Sheamus in the ring and tries to triple powerbomb Sheamus, but Show spears all three members. Sheamus crawls towards Show, but Orton makes the tag and takes Ambrose down with the powerslam. Orton delivers the middle-rope DDT to Ambrose. Rollins comes off the top rope, but Orton catches him with an RKO. Reigns takes Orton down with a Spear, and Ambrose covers him for the pin fall.
Winners: The Shield.
After the match, Show and Orton argue and Show KO punches both Sheamus and Orton.

We see a hype video for the Rock/Cena main event later tonight.

Mark Henry vs. Ryback

They get face-to-face to start the match. They run into each other a few times, but neither man budges. They exchange right hands, and Ryback gains the advantage. Henry comes back and takes Ryback down. Henry connects with a running powerslam for a one count. Ryback comes back and kicks Henry in the midsection. Ryback tries to lift Henry, but Henry reverses and sets Ryback on the apron. Henry quickly knocks Ryback down to the floor. Henry delivers some forearm shots to Ryback’s kidney area and applies a bear hug. Henry backs Ryback into the corner, and then clotheslines him over the top rope. Ryback gets back into the ring, but Henry kicks him in the head. Henry goes back to the bear hug. Ryback tries to escape, but Henry slams him down to the mat. Ryback fights back and backs Henry into the corner. Ryback takes Henry down with the Meat Hook Clothesline. Ryback picks Henry up for Shell Shocked, but Henry grabs the ropes and collapses on top of Ryback. Henry crawls onto Ryback for the cover, and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Mark Henry.
After the match, Henry goes after Ryback, but Ryback takes him down with a spinebuster. Ryback lifts Henry up and delivers Shell Shocked.

WWE announces a new partnership with the Special Olympics. Members of the Foundation, Stephanie McMahon, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie appear on stage after a video package.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Team Hell No (c) vs. Big E Langston and Dolph Ziggler (w/AJ Lee)
Bryan and Ziggler start the match. Ziggler and AJ kiss, and Bryan kicks Ziggler in the head, and Bryan gets a two count. Bryan kicks Ziggler in the chest repeatedly and Ziggler rolls away and tags in Langston. Bryan tags in Kane. Kane pummels Langston and comes off the ropes, but Langston catches him and delivers a series of back-breakers. Langston backs Kane into the corner and charges, but Kane gets a boot up. Kane goes for the chokeslam, but Langston counters. Langston beats down Kane. Langston tags in Ziggler, who dropkicks Kane down for a one count. Ziggler holds Kane and tags in Langston. Langston delivers shots to Kane’s midsection, but Kane powers out of the attack. Langston tags in Ziggler, who knocks Bryan off the apron. Kane gains control and takes Ziggler down with a sidewalk slam for a two count. Kane comes off the top, but Ziggler moves and Ziggler takes Kane down for a two count before Bryan breaks it up. Kane comes back and delivers an upper cut to Ziggler, but Langston breaks up the pin attempt. Kane sends Langston to the outside and Bryan takes him down with a knee. Ziggler takes Kane down with the Zigzag, but only gets a two count. Ziggler gets the Money in the Bank briefcase as AJ distracts the referee. Kane ducks and clotheslines Ziggler. Bryan comes off the top and hits the flying headbutt for the pin fall.
Winners and still WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No.

We see a video package for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Chris Jericho vs. Fandango

Jericho takes Fandango down and pummels him before Fandango goes to the outside. Fandango gets back into the ring, but Jericho takes him down again. Jericho kicks Fandango down in the corner. Jericho picks Fandango up and drapes him over the top rope. Jericho hits the Codebreaker and Fandango rolls to the floor. Jericho launches from the top rope and takes Fandango down on the outside. Back in the ring, Jericho kicks Fandango in the ribs. Jericho tosses Fandango back to the outside. Jericho goes after him, but Fandango catches him by surprise with a kick to the head. Fandango goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out at two. Fandango stomps away on Jericho, and applies a headlock. Fandango sends Jericho off the ropes, but Jericho takes him down with some forearm shots. Jericho takes Fandango down with the Thesz Press and delivers some right hands. Jericho takes Fandango down with an enzuiguri for a two count. Jericho takes Fandango down with a cross-body from the top rope, but only gets a two count. Jericho charges, but Fandango moves and Jericho goes shoulder-first into the ring post. Fandango slams Jericho down and goes up top. Fandango delivers his top rope legdrop, but Jericho kicks out at two. Jericho comes back and rolls Fandango up for a two count. Jericho tries to go for the Walls of Jericho, but Fandango escapes. Fandango takes Jericho down again and goes up top, but Jericho counters and Fandango falls. Jericho gets Fandango on the top again and goes up after him.Fandango headbutts Jericho and goes for the legdrop, but Jericho moves. Jericho hits the Lionsault and goes for the Walls, but he tweaked his knee. Fandango rolls up Jericho for the pin fall.

Winner: Fandango.

We take a look back at The Miz beating Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship on the pre-show.

We see a video hype package that highlights The Rock.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Alberto Del Rio (c) (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) vs. Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter)

Swagger backs Del Rio into the ropes and Swagger goes to the outside. Del Rio dropkicks Swagger on the floor and goes out after him. Colter provides a distraction and Swagger takes advantage. Swagger drives his knee into Del Rio’s midsection and tosses him down to the mat for a two count. Del Rio fights back and surprises Swagger with a quick two count. Swagger comes back and beats Del Rio down on the mat and connects with the Swagger Bomb for a two count. Swagger tries to wrap Del Rio’s knee around the ring post, but Del Rio kicks him away. Del Rio keeps control and delivers a back-breaker to Swagger and kicks Colter on the floor. Del Rio takes Swagger down and gets a two count. Swagger comes back and takes Del Rio down and gets a two count. Swagger works over Del Rio’s knee and goes for the Patriot Lock, but Del Rio fights out. Swagger goes for the Swagger Bomb again, but Del Rio counters. Del Rio comes back and beats Swagger down and goes for the cover, but Swagger kicks out at two. Del Rio takes Swagger down with a German Suplex. Del Rio goes for the cross arm-breaker, but Swagger counters and powerbombs Del Rio for a two count. Swagger gets Del Rio in the Patriot Lock, but Del Rio rolls through and goes for the cross arm-breaker. He locks it in, but Swagger rolls through and locks in the Patriot Lock again. Del Rio makes it to the ropes, and Swagger chokes him down on the mat. Del Rio comes back and connects with an enzuiguri. Del Rio goes for the cover, but Colter puts Swagger’s foot on the rope. Rodriguez goes after Colter, but Colter kicks his crutches out from underneath him. Swagger goes after Del Rio and slams him on the floor. Both men get back into the ring and Del Rio locks in the cross arm-breaker and Swagger taps out.

Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: Alberto Del Rio.

CM Punk(w/Paul Heyman) vs. The Undertaker

Punk catches Taker in the corner and slaps him in the face. Taker goes after Punk, but Punk gets to the outside. Punk keeps on the offensive and kicks Taker in the chest before Taker kicks Punk in the face. They go to the outside and Taker beats Punk down before tossing him over the barricade. Taker slams Punk into the announce table and then slams him back-first into the ring post. Taker sets Punk on the apron and kicks him in the head. Taker drops a leg across Punk’s throat on the apron. Taker gets Punk in the corner and pummels him. Taker sets up for Old School, but Punk arm drags him down to the mat. Punk delivers Old School to Taker and goes for the cover, but Taker kicks out at two. Punk applies a submission, but Taker backs him into the corner. Taker lands some lefts and rights in the corner and goes for the big boot, but Punk moves and Taker goes knee-first into the corner. They are on the outside and Punk clubs Taker from the top and both men are down. Punk takes Taker back into the ring and delivers a neck-breaker for a two count. Punk works over Taker’s shoulder, but Taker comes back with a few right hands. Punk delivers a swinging neck-breaker and gets a two count. Punk applies a headlock in the center of the ring, but Taker counters and suplexes Punk down to the mat. Punk goes for Old School again, but Taker knocks him down and Punk straddles the top rope. Heyman gets on the apron, and Taker grabs him and sets him up for a chokeslam. Punk takes Taker down with a flying clothesline for a two count. Punk hits the flying knee and follows it up with a clothesline. Punk delivers the elbow drop from the top and gets a two count. Punk goes for the GTS, but Taker counters with a chokeslam and goes for the cover, but Punk kicks out at two. Punk and Taker exchange right hands and Taker pummels Punk in the corner. Taker delivers Snake Eyes to Punk and goes for the big boot, but Punk counters with a dropkick. Punk goes for the cover, but Taker kicks out at two. Punk clotheslines Taker to the outside. Punk rips apart the announce table, but Taker stops him. Taker attempts the Last Ride through the announce table, but Punk counters and kicks Taker in the head and Taker falls on the table. Punk dives off the ropes and drives an elbow onto Taker on the table, but the table doesn’t collapse. Taker gets back into the ring at nine, and both men are down. Taker locks in Hell’s Gate, but Punk counters and gets a two count. Punk locks in the Anaconda Vice, but Taker fights out. Punk hits the GTS, but Taker bounces off the ropes and hits the Tombstone, but Punk kicks out at two.
Punk and Taker exchange right hands again and Punk gains the upper hand. Taker comes back and grabs Punk, but Punk hits the referee and Heyman distracts Taker. Taker sets Punk up for the Last Ride, but Punk hits Taker in the head with the urn. Punk goes for the cover, but Taker kicks out at two. Punk goes for the GTS, but Taker fights out and hits the Tombstone for the pin fall.
Winner: The Undertaker.

We see a video package highlighting John Cena’s journey over the past year.

No Holds Barred Match: Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Triple H (w/Shawn Michaels)
They brawl all around the ring and then Triple H sends Lesnar to the outside. Triple H sends Lesnar into the announce table. Lesnar comes back and beats Triple H down and tosses him back into the ring. Triple H connects with a high knee and tosses Lesnar to the floor. Triple H slams Lesnar’s head into the steel steps, but Lesnar takes him down with a belly-to-belly suplex. Lesnar slams Triple H into the announce table. Lesnar slams Triple H onto the announce table and it collapses. Lesnar delivers a knee to the midsection and another belly-to-belly suplex. Lesnar stomps away on Triple H and takes him down with a big clothesline. Lesnar delivers some knees in the corner, but Triple H fights back briefly. Lesnar takes Triple H down with another belly-to-belly suplex and goes for the cover, but only gets a two count. Lesnar German suplexes Triple H and goes for another cover, but Triple H kicks out. Lesnar lands some right hands in the corner, but Triple H reverses and lands some rights of his own. Lesnar sends Triple H to the outside. Lesnar looks at Michaels, and Triple H clotheslines Lesnar down on the floor. Triple H sends Lesnar over the barricade, and then slams him on the floor. Triple H tosses Lesnar back into the ring, but Lesnar catches him in another German Suplex. Lesnar levels Michaels for good measure. Triple H takes Lesnar down with a spinebuster and sets up for the Pedigree, but Lesnar counters for the F5. Michaels gets into the ring, but Lesnar hits him with an F5. Triple H delivers the Pedigree to Lesnar, but Lesnar kicks out at two. Triple H grabs the sledgehammer and swings it, but Lesnar ducks and delivers the F5. Lesnar goes for the cover, but Triple H kicks out at two. Back on the outside, Lesnar slams Triple H into the steel steps. Lesnar picks up the steps and slams them into Triple H’s head and then tosses them into the ring. Lesnar does the throat slash gesture and nails Triple H with the steps again and goes for the cover, but Triple H kicks out at two. Triple H slaps Lesnar in the face, and Lesnar locks in the Kimora Lock, but Triple H backs him into the corner. Lesnar locks it in again, but Triple H slams him on the mat. Lesnar goes shoulder-first into the ring post and Triple H delivers a low blow. Triple H slams Lensar’s arm into the ring post and hits it with a steel chair a couple of times. Triple H locks in the Kimora Lock on Lesnar, and Michaels knocks Heyman out with Sweet Chin Music. Lesnar lifts Triple H up and slams him on the steps. Triple H locks it in again, and Lesnar slams him on the steps again. Triple H locks it in a third time, and Lesnar goes to slam Triple H, but Triple H delivers a DDT. Triple H grabs the sledgehammer, and nails Lesnar in the head with it. Triple H Pedigrees Lensar on the steps and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Triple H.

We get a video preview for Extreme Rules, which is on May 19th.

The Hall of Fame inductees make their way to the stage.

WWE Championship Match: The Rock (c) vs. John Cena
Cena gets Rock in a headlock, but Rock sends him off the ropes. Cena takes him down with a shoulder block, and they stare each other down. This time, Rock gets Cena in a headlock, Cena sends him off the ropes, and Rock takes Cena down with a shoulder block. Rock goes back to the headlock and takes Cena down with a hip toss. Cena rolls to the outside. Cena backs Rock into the corner and delivers some rights and lefts. Cena tosses Rock into the corner, but Rock comes out with a big clothesline. Rock tosses Cena into the corner, and then kicks him in the chest. Rock catches Cena on the apron. Cena comes back and applies a headlock in the middle of the ring. Rock tries to fight out, but Cena takes him down again and keeps the headlock. Cena slams Rock down to the mat and goes for the cover, but Rock kicks out at two. Cena goes back to the headlock, but Rock reverses into a Sleeper Hold. Cena counters and slams Rock down for a two count. Rock comes back and delivers the Samoan Drop to Cena, and both men are down. Cena comes back and delivers a suplex for a two count. Cena takes Rock down with a shoulder tackle and goes for the STF, but Rock counters. Cena takes Rock down with another shoulder tackle and goes for the side slam, but Rock counters again. Rock locks in the Sharpshooter. Cena rolls through and goes for the Five-Knuckle Shuffle, but Rock moves and drops Cena with a DDT. Rock goes for the Rock Bottom, but Cena counters and locks in the Crossface. Cena launches Rock into the corner and delivers the side slam. Cena delivers the Five-Knuckle Shuffle and goes for the AA, but Rock counters and delivers a spinebuster. Rock goes for the People’s Elbow, but Cena counters into the STF. Rock fights out and Cena slaps the mat before Rock delivers the Rock Bottom. Rock goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Cena nails the AA out of nowhere, but Rock kicks out at two. Cena goes up top and goes for the legdrop, but Rock moves. Rock delivers a spinebuster and then the People’s Elbow. Rock goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Cena rolls to the outside, but Rock goes out after him. Rock tosses Cena back into the ring, and they exchange right hands. Rock comes off the ropes, but Cena catches him. Cena tries to slam him, but Rock counters with a Rock Bottom but only gets a two count. Rock gets to his feet and goes for the Five-Knuckle Shuffle, but Cena counters into the AA for a two count. They exchange right hands and Cena rolls Rock up for a two count. Cena nails the Rock Bottom on Rock, but only gets a two count. Cena goes for the People’s Elbow, but tricks the Rock and goes for the AA, but Rock countered into the Rock Bottom for a two count. Rock levels Cena with a DDT, and both men are down. Rock gets up and goes for the Rock Bottom, but Cena counters into the AA for the pin fall.
Winner and new WWE Champion: John Cena.

After the match, Cena and Rock have a few words and then embrace. Cena leaves Rock alone in the ring. Rock walks up the ramp and he and Cena salute. Cena raises Rock’s hand. Cena raises the WWE Championship high overhead as WrestleMania comes to a close.
