Stephanie: WWE has spent “in the six figures” on Scott Hall’s rehab

In an interview with ESPN.COM, Stephanie McMahon is asked about the rehab of Scott Hall under the WWE wellness policy. Stephanie said that the company has spent “in the six figures” for the multiple rehab assignments on efforts to help him get sober.

“It’s the most amount of money we’ve spent on anyone,” she said in the interview. “I just want Scott to get help and to decide for himself that he needs help. It makes me sad. I don’t want anybody to pass away prematurely or otherwise really. Scott was an incredibly talented performer, larger than life, charismatic. He’s a father, he’s a friend. I’m sure he means a lot to a lot of people and it would be a shame for him to pass away.”

She’s Right!! I too do not want Scott Hall to be just another wrestling statistic, and want him to find peace for himself and finally beat his demons. It would be nice for wrestling to have a happy ending story once in a while, and I couldn’t want it for anyone stronger than Scott Hall. He is just one of a handfull of guys that has been on wrestling’s “Death Watch” for a long time now. WWE does an amazing thing for their former employers. Looking forward to seeing the ESPN E60 piece on Da’ Bad Guy!! Get Well Chico!!

There should be a cutoff point for Hall. Or sell Hall merchandise and use it to pay for his rehab. How much more money are they gonna throw away on his worthless ass?

Unfortunately, you can’t force someone to clean up. That choice is theirs alone. They got to want to change and if Scott Hall wants to drown himself in a bottle of Thunderbird, let him.

    @ Jay

Do you know when the piece on ESPN is airing? Thank you in advance

That “worthless ass” is a human being… Have some compassion.

Any ‘man’ that neglects and refuses his children to put poison in his body or powder up his nose is a worthless piece of garbage. His children have begged him since they were little to get clean, his wife has given everything she has to get him to get clean, even when she shouldnt have once they divorced. Forget about how many times Nash has tried, same thing with Pac and Michaels.Imagine all that money he’s pissed away on booze, pills, and heroin, what that could’ve done for his two children. F*ck him.

The piece is on ESPN on Wednesday night (10/19) on the show E:60 at 8:00 pm.

I’m glad that the people in WWE are so interested in trying to help Scott Hall, but does anybody else think it’s tacky for Stephanie to talk about how much money they’ve spent on him (even if it’s a vague estimate)?? I don’t really know how to feel about the revelation that WWE has spent “in the six figures” trying to help Scott: is this trying to point out the gravity of his case, or is it just boasting???
