  1. James says:

    Pros:

1.) CM Punk vs Del Rio match was very good. Del Rio might not be that great on the mic but he can work matches nicely.

2.) The Rock still has it, though it would have been nice if Cena didn’t hog 70% of the spotlight as usual.

3.) Grand Slam from the top rope = epic

    Cons:

1.) Kharma really needs to come back and teach these women how to fight. I paid 44.99 to see matches, not a botch fest.

2.) Big Show/Mark Henry match was awful outside of the HBK tribute.

3.) Does Sin Cara even have a purpose?

  2. dave says:

    @James -

“3.) Does Sin Cara even have a purpose?”

    Like a special purpose?

    7.5/10 for the PPV

  3. 4EverWWE says:

Perhaps this Sin Cara thing is a work do to the guy needing personal time off…………who knows?

PPV was alright, there have been better Survivor Series in the past

Would have liked to see more titles change hands, but the Diva title stayed with Beth so she can keep claiming to be the dominant diva and then have Kharma return and make those two cry!!

  4. Axel says:

Honestly, a friend on a forum said it perfectly and I am going to copy and paste his words into here…

It’s coming down to two very bad closing moments of WM, either it becomes the ultimate “This is our product, like it, or go away” snap at fans if/when Cena does go over Rock. Or it’ll be the ultimate burial of Cena if Rock makes every insult up until now valid. It ends up pissing someone off regardless.

  5. Urvy says:

    @ James

You can’t send a pregnant woman to the ring, that’ll be bad for the baby inside the womb. Wait until after birth, and after maternity leave for Kharma to return. At least she’ll be in WWE ’12.

  6. Axel says:

    Oh and also, @ James

THey wanted to shut up the Rocky is rusty chants hence why the match went as it did. They couldnt just have Awesome Truth seem like tools, so they used Cena to put the two of them over by having him get beat up so much, but yet essentially it leads to my last comment where they have ruined wrestlemania. Keeping Cena Face = Wrestlemania is going to end horribly no matter how good the rest of the card is.

  7. -J- says:

    Good show? y2j…u prankster.

  8. Asterik says:

Survivor series ’03 and ’07 were the best ones in my opinion, this year’s survivor series is just lack luster even though the Rock headlines the main event with Cena.

  9. kc says:

The amount of control Rock has over everyone in the crowd is amazing. He makes the cheers for CM Punk look like a few jobber claps.

  10. Neumanrko9 says:

it’s like The Rock never left, the fans were right he definately has still got it

  11. -J- says:

Rock could tell everyone to bitch slap each other and they would…best on the mic EVER, and he can still throw down in the ring.

  12. Shacoria J. says:

@4everwwe i think when kharma comes back she’ll join beth and natayla as the actual womens wrestlers vs the air head divas. They seriously need to recruit Tamina for now and continue being dominant.

  13. Seanyd93 says:

maybe 2012 will be the year that WWE realises what potential Zack Ryder has and actually do something worthwhile with him? -.-
although I wouldn’t mind so much, if this is all build up to giving him a good clean WM win :)

also, Cena’s time is up, and WWE knows it, the older fans are sick of his gimmick, and WWE can’t survive with just the younger audience, my geuss is The Rock will be used to get the older fans into WM28, they will bury Cena, and keep the older fans, piss the younger ones off, but in the long run, a cena revamp will work well…..

  14. Zafx says:

Take away the WWE title change and the Rock wrestling.
The PPV was just another Raw.

  15. frank says:

i give it a 6 out of 10, wrestling wise and promo wise.
however, there was no real suprizes like with Mick Foley, Kevin Nash making suprize apperances.

  16. axel says:

Good luck on Cena, he sells merchandise which wouldn’t happen as big if was a heel, so more or less, you need a TON of luck for him to be changed.

  17. sighman says:

rather pathetic domination of The Miz & R-Truth from The Rock, i believe he only took two bumps in the entire match…

  18. dooman says:

did you all see rocks 1st offensive moves of the match he did more wrestling moves in one min. then zena done his whole career

  19. Bommaniac says:

They went the easy, predictable option. Cena gets dominated, makes the superhuman tag for Rock to clean house and win then sends a parting shot to Cena to close. Only the Rock actually looked good with the finish at the end of the match.

Hunico got a fair bit of that SS tag match which is good and will give a bit of credibility.

Actually enjoyed the women’s title match, great finish.

The really big men should only very rarely face each other and never 2 PPV in a row. The heavyweight title should be vacated to lead to a tlc match for barrett and orton. Show would not be the best to put in a tlc match for obvious reasons.

I want to see Kane coming back and not being happy about Show putting Henry out with a chair, cue chair match at tlc. Masked (I hope) and able to sit up from Show’s W.M.D just like the good old days when he was unstoppable.

3-way ladder match for the US title coming up too.

  20. AceOfSpades says:

I’ve been to over 40 shows in my life…from ECW, to WCW, to WWF House Shows to Wrestlemanias…and NOTHING compared to Survivor Series 2011.

    Observations:
    1) They were AT LEAST 20,000 CM Punk “Best in the World” T-shirts
    2) AT LEAST 10,000 Zach Ryder signs/shirts/headbands etc
    3) Cody Rhodes’ got one of the bigger pops of the nights
    4) Dolph is the biggest heel in WWE
    5) The entire section I was singing Mark Henry’s theme
    6) 2 Randy Savage chants, 3-4 Sexual Chocolate chants, about 10 different We Want Ryder chants
    7) My friend who doesn’t really watch wrestling asked if Cena was a heel because of the amount of boos he got.
    8) The Rock coming back was the by far worth EVERY DAMN RED CENT.

Amazing show…hope the PPV was just as good.

  21. AJ Starr says:

Doorman… being a mark is not a cool thing. Saying Rock showed more talent in 1 minute than Cena ever has? Have you ever seen The Rock’s matches? I was amazed he even knew how to do an arm drag considering he stopped using them around 1998. Still can’t figure out how to use a Sharpshooter, and he was slapping his thigh on punches so obviously, I was shaking my head in disbelief.

Did Rock do well? Yes… did he outshine anyone with his skills? No.

And for those who said Cena was taking the spotlight… WHAT? Rock cut a 10 minute promo halfway through the PPV, took all the good spots in the match, and then laid out Cena.

The way WWE is booking Rock, HE should be the heel. He is constantly using high school insults on Cena, and taking cheap shots and attacking Cena from behind. This whole Mania Main Event is going to be horrible, because the WWE has no clue what they’re doing in order to promote it.

  22. dooman says:

thats exactly what i am saying aj…..more talent in 1 min then zena done his whole career
