Video: Hulk Hogan’s negative reaction on Raw
Well, Los Angeles is not Hulkamania country.
Hulk Hogan was booed quite substantially in front of the Los Angeles crowd at WWE’s debut on Netflix.
Watching Hulk Hogan get booed out of a building filled with 18k people restored my faith in humanity #WWERAW #RawOnNetflix pic.twitter.com/f8qBP7uILt

Did you agree w/ the “boooos” for HH?#WWEonNetflix #WWERaw @BustedOpenRadio

Should of kicked those woke disrespectful snowflake b*tches out of the building!
Hogan’s so used to everybody kissing his arse he could barely get back on track for his promo.
LOVE that for him! Go back to the nursing home, old man. Nobody wants to see you.
Poor Jimmy Hart though. He’s such a good soul. He didn’t deserve that.
I’m not surprised. It’s in Los Angeles. A lot of entertainment types, the ones that voted democrat and turned a blind eye to the likes of Weinstein, Epstein, Diddy, would have got tickets to this due to the Netflix involvement. I pray zero children got molested in any after parties.
@DB
You may also wanna pray for the children getting molested in the place you go to pray…
What excuse will you make when they boo him in Detroit or Miami?
@DB
and Hogan is what, the bastion of virtue? The beacon of morality? If this has anything to do with political affiliation or the fact that some of them voted democrat, I’d think that the Undertaker would have been booed as well. He wasn’t. Hogan was. Hogan was there for one reason, and it wasn’t for the fans. It was to promote his beer company.
It’s a million dollar question. I have no idea what was I thinking? Damn it!
@Joseph I didn’t claim Hogan was “the bastion of virtue” in my post, I merely posted my reaction and a reason why. The Undertaker and Hogan both endorsed Trump, but Hogan went to rallies and was more visible. That is a major reason as to why the hollywood industry would be more vicious towards Hogan than Taker.
And yes, Hogan promoted his beer brand, which the WWE has partnered with. If people like his beer, he’ll make money. If they don;t, it will fail. Let the market decide. It’s not like he’s the first to partner with the WWE on a product..
@DB
“the hollywood industry”
Yeah, LA is nothing but millions of actors, directors, writers, etc. and not a single one capable of thinking for themselves, 100% hardcore democrats. I heard you needed to show your SAG card at the door… It’s amazing how dumb you’re willing to go to defend your idols, but gotta admire your loyalty.
What would you say about someone like me who was booing Hogan as a 12-year-old all the way back in 1990?
@DB
Hollywood is a vile place. Hogan was at the rallies, and he was more visible, but I don’t think his being booed had anything to do with that. I can’t say why they were booing him. Maybe people are just sick of him, and they want him to go away.
@Joseph
Or maybe people look at him and see a whore. I’m pretty sure he didn’t go to all those rallies for free.
@Joseph That could very well be the case. However, his UFC appearance was well received, which might lend a bit of credibility towards my views. I still believe there would have been a higher percentage of the hollywood industry types for this since it was a Netflix premiere. You have to do a lot of sucking up, not to mention sucking on, to get ahead (cheap pun intended) in that vile ecosystem.
On a more serious note, LA is burning at this moment. Please spare a thought to the innocents that are suffering during this time.
@DB
Which UFC appearance? There was the one in Tampa where he followed Colby Covington to the ring with the American flag. Is that the one you’re talking about? I don’t watch UFC, so I don’t know when Hogan made an appearance there.
Colby’s the loser. End of story which is fitting.
@Joseph That’s the one.
@DB
That really doesn’t prove anything except that when he followed a guy to the ring, he wasn’t booed in the town he called home for years.
Still, Hulk Hogan is a shill, a loser, unlike The Undertaker. I respect Mark.
Hogan was part of an entourage for his UFC appearance. If people are booing, how do you know which person in that entourage it’s directed at?
I lost a little respect for Undertaker when I heard him say someone deserved ‘flowers’ for their work. Sorry, grown men should NEVER use ‘flowers’ that way. NEVER EVER NEVER EVER!
@Joseph He wasn’t booed on an event in a town that appreciates him. Yet he was booed on an event in a town that doesn’t appreciate him, an event that would have attracted a higher percentage of hollywood industry types, once again, due to being the first WWE episode on Netflix. It’s all about perception with those inside the industry. However, the perception of hollywood is negative with most people I speak with these days.
Eric Bischoff has a similar opinion to mine – https://www.gerweck.net/2025/01/11/eric-bischoff-on-hulk-hogans-negative-reaction/comment-page-1/?unapproved=616538&moderation-hash=288c6a5ed82615034118c8f5c9d75583#comment-616538 .
I’ll leave it at that. I hope you have a good day.
@art123guy Take some time out of your day and smell the flowers. It will cheer you up. You deserve it. 🙂
@DB–It’s ok to SMELL flowers, but NOT ok use ‘flowers’ as a way to say someone should be honored, thanked, or recognized while they are alive to experience the appreciation they’ve earned.
Have a good day. I’m off to the daisy patch.
@DB
In Tampa Florida 2021, wasn’t Hogan also booed during Wrestlemania 37 when he cohosted with Titus O’Neil?
