WWE Smackdown rating/viewership for last week

Friday’s live edition of WWE SmackDown drew an average of 2.232 million viewers on FOX, according to Nielsen, via Showbuzz Daily.

This final number is down 1.41% from the previous week’s final viewership of 2.264 million viewers for the post-Crown Jewel show on Veteran’s Day.

Friday’s SmackDown drew a 0.56 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is down 3.44% from the previous week’s 0.58 rating. This past week’s 0.56 key demo rating represents 726,000 18-49 viewers, which is down 4.09% from the 757,000 18-49 viewers that the previous week’s 0.58 key demo rating drew, according to Wrestlenomics.

SmackDown ranked #1 in ratings for the key 18-49 demographic on network TV, even with the previous week’s #1 ranking, and the week before that. SmackDown ranked #2 in the 18-34 demo this week, even with the previous week’s #2 ranking. SmackDown ranked #2 in the 25-54 demo, down from the previous week’s #1 ranking. SmackDown came in at #7 for the night in viewership on network TV, even with the previous week’s #7 ranking. While SmackDown topped the night on network TV in the key demographic, Blue Bloods on CBS topped the night in viewership with 5.818 million viewers, also drawing a 0.42 key demo rating.

Friday’s SmackDown drew the eleventh-highest total audience of the year so far for a standard airing, and the ninth-lowest key demo rating of the year so far, tied with two other episodes. Sports competition from Friday included two NBA games on ESPN, two College Basketball games on FS1, five College Basketball games on ESPN2, one College Basketball game on ESPNU, one College Football game on FS1, and B1G Women’s Volleyball on Big Ten Network. Friday’s viewership was down 1.41% from the previous week’s episode, while the key demo rating was down 3.44% from the previous week’s episode.

Viewership for Friday’s SmackDown episode was up 8.14% from the same week in 2021, while Friday’s 18-49 key demo rating was up 7.69% from the same week in 2021.

The NBA game between the Knicks and the Warriors on ESPN topped the night on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.51 key demo rating, also drawing 1.472 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.318 million viewers, also drawing a 0.19 key demo rating for the #8 spot on the Cable Top 150.

Friday’s SmackDown aired live from the XL Center in Hartford, CT, with the following line-up advertised ahead of time – Shotzi vs. Shayna Baszler, Mustafa Ali vs. Ricochet in a SmackDown World Cup first round match, plus Sami Zayn vs. Butch in a SmackDown World Cup first round bout, which was the main event.
