AEW Dynamite rating/viewership for this week

Wednesday’s live Third Anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite drew 1.038 million viewers on TBS, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

This is up 4.85% from last week’s episode, which drew 990,000 viewers.

This week’s Dynamite drew a 0.33 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is down 2.94% from last week’s 0.34 rating. This week’s 0.33 key demographic rating represents 430,000 viewers who watched the show from that 18-49 demo. This is down 3.15% from last week’s 444,000 18-49 viewers that the 0.34 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics.

Dynamite ranked #2 on the Cable Top 150 this week with the 0.33 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. This is up from last week’s #9 ranking.

Dynamite ranked #28 in viewership for the night on cable this week. This is up from last week’s #65 ranking.

Wednesday’s Dynamite drew the seventh-highest total audience of the year so far, and the eleventh-highest key demo rating of the year so far, tied with five other episodes. This was the lowest key demo rating since the House of The Dragon episode on August 17. Sports competition from last night included college football on ESPN2, and a NBA Pre-season game on NBA-TV. Wednesday’s Dynamite viewership was up 4.85% from last week, while the 18-49 key demo rating was down 2.94% from last week.

This week’s Dynamite viewership was down 1.42% from the same week in 2021. The key demo rating was down 10.81% from the previous year. The 2021 episode was the Second Anniversary special.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo topped the night on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.36 key demographic rating, also drawing 1.199 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped the night in viewership on cable with 3.644 million viewers, also drawing a 0.26 key demo rating for the #4 spot on the Cable Top 150.

Chicago Fire on NBC topped the night on network TV in viewership with an average of 7.352 million viewers, also drawing a 0.77 key demo rating. Survivor on CBS topped the night on network TV in the 18-49 key demographic with a 0.80 rating, also drawing 5.145 million viewers.

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite aired live from the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, DC, and featured several happenings advertised ahead of time – MJF vs. Wheeler Yuta as the opener, Interim AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, Athena and Willow Nightingale vs. Penelope Ford, Serena Deeb and Jamie Hayter, Rush vs. Adam Page, Jay Lethal vs. Darby Allin with no one in their corners, Luchasaurus’ return to action, AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed celebrating “National Scissoring Day” with Billy Gunn, AEW TNT Champion Wardlow defending against Brian Cage, plus ROH Pure Champion Daniel Garcia and Bryan Danielson vs. ROH World Champion Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara, which was the main event.
