AEW Dynamite viewership/rating for this week

Wednesday’s live edition of AEW Dynamite drew 1.049 million viewers on TBS, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

This is up 9.61% from last week’s episode, which drew 957,000 viewers for the House of The Dragon show.

This week’s Dynamite drew a 0.34 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is up 13.33% from last week’s 0.30 rating. This week’s 0.34 key demographic rating represents 444,000 viewers who watched the show from that 18-49 demo. This is up 13.55% from last week’s 391,000 18-49 viewers that the 0.30 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics.

Dynamite ranked #1 on the Cable Top 150 this week with the 0.34 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. This is up from last week’s #2 ranking.

Dynamite ranked #31 in viewership for the night on cable this week. This is up from last week’s #34 ranking.

Wednesday’s Dynamite drew the highest total audience since February 9, and the highest key demo rating since July 6. Dynamite this week drew the third-best total audience of the year so far, and the ninth-best key demo rating of the year so far. There was some sports competition last night from the Little League World Series, the WNBA Playoffs, and Liga MX soccer. Wednesday’s Dynamite viewership was up 9.61% from last week, while the 18-49 key demo rating was up 13.33% from last week.

While Dynamite topped the Cable Top 150 for the night with the 0.34 key demo rating, The Five on FOX News topped the night in viewership on cable with 3.398 million viewers, also drawing a 0.18 key demo rating for the #4 spot on the Cable Top 150.

America’s Got Talent on NBC topped the night on network TV in viewership with an average of 5.548 million viewers, also drawing a 0.60 key demo rating. Big Brother on CBS topped the night on network TV in the 18-49 key demographic with a 0.87 rating, also drawing 3.989 million viewers.

This week’s Dynamite viewership was down 10.49% from the same week in 2021. The key demo rating was down 29.16% from the previous year. The 2021 episode was the CM Punk Dynamite debut.

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite aired live from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, OH, and featured several happenings advertised ahead of time – a face-off between Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia, a promo from Ricky Starks, Britt Baker vs. KiLynn King, Billy Gunn vs. Colten Gunn, AEW, AAA & ROH World Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood vs. Jay Lethal, CM Punk vs. Jon Moxley for the Undisputed AEW World Title, which aired at the top of the second hour, plus Death Triangle vs. United Empire in a First Round match in the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW World Trios Champions, which aired as the main event.
