The ROH World Champion, Claudio Castagnoli, and the ROH Pure Champion, Wheeler Yuta, make their way to the ring. Castagnoli says it is great to be the ROH World Champion, especially being in front of the fans and Ricky Steamboat. Castagnoli says he is in street clothes, but he’d be more comfortable in wrestling gear. Castagnoli issues an open challenge for the ROH title for next week’s Rampage, and Dustin Rhodes comes to the ring to answer it. Rhodes says they have a lot of history, and he has dreamt for 34 years of holding the world title. Rhodes says Castagnoli chased it forever, and he finally got it. Rhodes says if Castagnoli accepts, he will give him the best Natural Dustin Rhodes he has ever seen. Castagnoli says he knows it nags when people say ‘you should have been World Champion,’ and he still sees fire in Rhodes’ eyes. Castagnoli says he hasn’t lost his fire, either, and says Rhodes is on next week. Rhodes says he will see Castagnoli next week, and they shake hands.

Lexy Nair interviews Ortiz and Ruby Soho. Soho says they are chomping at the bit to get their hands on Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo. Soho says it was cute what they did to Dante Martin and Skye Blue last week, and challenges them to a match next week. Ortiz says they would get their hands on them if they were here right now, and screams “Lets fight!” over and over.

Match #1 – AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Swerve in Our Glory (Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland) (c) vs. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen)
Lee and Kassidy start the match. Lee tries to throw Kassidy across the ring, but Kassidy lands on his feet. Kassidy delivers a series of shots, but Lee counters with a double chop to the chest. Lee drags Kassidy to the corner, and Strickland tags in. Lee chops Kassidy in the corner, and Strickland connects with a back elbow. Strickland comes off the ropes, but Kassidy counters with a back elbow of his own. Quen tries to interfere, but Strickland ducks and Quen goes to the floor. Kassidy comes back and sends Strickland to the outside, and then takes him out with a dive as the show heads to a commercial.
Back form the break, Party is double-teaming Strickland in the corner. They taunt Lee, and Strickland comes back and takes them down. Lee tags in and tosses Kassidy across the ring. Lee splashes Quen in the corner and tosses him across the ring, and then does the same to Kassidy. Lee drops Kassidy with a running lariat and goes for the cover, but Kassidy kicks out. Kassidy comes back with an enzuigiri and tags in Quen. Lee delivers a Pounce to Quen and goes for the cover, but Quen kicks out. Strickland tags in and kicks Quen in the head and goes for the cover, but Quen kicks out again. Strickland hits the JML Driver on Quen and gets the pin fall.

-After the match, Lee shares a fist bump with Kassidy and shakes hands with Quen.

Tony Nair interviews QT Marshall and The Factory. She asks Marshall about what Powerhouse Hobbs might have in store for them, but before he can say much Hobbs comes in and flips over their card table. Hobbs says Marshall told him they were going to take care of Ricky Starks, but they broke their word. Marshall says plans didn’t go right last week, but his words is his bond.

Zack Clayton cuts a promo on his way to the ring. He says he is the biggest star here tonight, and it is a shame that he has to win the FTW Championship in the cesspool known as West Virginia. Clayton says he will take the title to a state that people actually respect, New Jersey.

Match #2 – FTW Championship Match: Hook (c) vs. Zack Clayton
Hook dodges a shot from Clayton and immediately causes Clayton to pass out in the Redrum.

Angelo Parker and Matt Menard cut a promo. Menard said Hook was impressive tonight, but he rubs them the wrong way. Parker says the FTW Championship may be rich in professional wrestling history, but what if it was held by a Sports Entertainer?

Lexy Nair is backstage with Billy Gunn. He says it looks like the Ass Boys finally put on their big boy pants, and says he is bringing some friends to spank their ass on Dynamite, and The Acclaimed walk up.

Match #3 – Singles Match: Buddy Matthews (w/Julia Hart) vs. Serpentico
Matthews delivers a shotgun dropkick in the corner and goes up top, but Serpentico rolls to the floor. Matthews kicks him in the face and slams him into the barricade. Matthews gets Serpentico back into the ring, but Serpentico kicks him in the face. Serpentico goes for a hurricanrana, but Matthews catches him and power bombs him into the turnbuckle. Matthews delivers a knee strike, and then slams Serpentico to the mat for the pin fall.
Winner: Buddy Matthews
-After the match, Miro comes to the stage. He has Malakai Black’s mask and throws it on the ground. Matthews goes after Miro, but Miro delivers a knee strike and throws Matthews into the ring steps. Miro throws Matthews into the ring, but Hart gets in his face. He stares her down and gets into the ring. Miro delivers a shot to Matthews and smashes him in the corner. Miro delivers body shots and stomps Matthews down in the corner. Matthews comes back with a slap to the face, but Miro delivers a thrust kick that sends Matthews to the outside.

Lexy Nair interviews Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., who is with Jamie Hayter and Rebel. Baker says they are leaving, because they are not needed for the pay-per-view. Nair says neither of them are number one contender and Rebel sends her away. Baker says she’s right, and they can just sit back and watch the implosion of Thunderstorm. Baker trash talks both Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm, and says they will be watching and waiting.

Match #4 – Singles Match: Athena vs. Penelope Ford
Ford delivers a shot and drops Athena to the mat, but Athena comes back with a quick arm-drag. Ford gets free and backs Athena into the corner, but Athena gets free. Ford counters back and delivers a shot that sends Athena into the corner. Ford connects with a handspring back elbow, and then sends Athena throat-first into the middle rope. Ford delivers another shot, and then drops an elbow on Athena on the apron. Ford pulls Athena to the floor and slams her into the apron as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Athena slams Ford into the barricade and rolls her back into the ring. Athena goes up top and takes Ford down with the diving corkscrew stunner and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Athena
-After the match, Kiera Hogan and Leila Grey attacks Athena from behind. They hold her in the ring as Jade Cargill and Stokely Hathaway walk to the stage. Cargill destroys Athena’s wings with a sledgehammer and comes to the ring. Athena fights back against Hogan and Grey, but Cargill hits her in the midsection with the sledgehammer.

Match #5 – AEW World Trios Tag Team Championship Tournament – Quarterfinal Match: Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) and Orange Cassidy vs. The TrustBusters (Ari Daivari, Parker Boudreaux, and Slim J) (w/Sonny Kiss)
Taylor and Daivari start the match, and J and Boudreaux distract Taylor from the start. Daivari attacks Taylor and tags in J. Taylor causes Daivari and J to headbutt and tags in Beretta. Taylor delivers Soul Food to Daivari and J takes Beretta to the corner. Taylor comes back and Best Friends double-team J. Beretta goes for the cover, but Daivari breaks it up. Boudreaux comes in and takes out Beretta, Taylor, and Cassidy in the corner. Boudreaux slams Taylor into the barricade, and Daivari sends Beretta into the front row. Daivari throws Beretta into Boudreaux and Boudreaux drops him with a forearm shot as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Beretta delivers a shot to Daivari, but Daivari tags in J. J sends Taylor to the floor and gets in Cassidy’s face, but Beretta drops J with a half-and-half suplex. Cassidy tags in and delivers shin kicks to J. Cassidy slams Daivari into the tunbuckle and drops J with a cross-body. Cassidy drops Daivari with a spinning DDT, but Boudreaux comes and drops him with a shot. Boudreaux drops Best Friends with a double clothesline and splashes them in the corners. They dodge the last splash and splash him themselves. Best Friends and Cassidy deliver a triple-dropkick in the corner and send him to the outside. J comes back in and drops Cassidy with a cutter J dropkicks Beretta to the floor and takes Beretta and Taylor out with a dive. Cassidy comes back and sends J to the corner, but Daivari tags in. J takes Cassidy down and Daivari hits the frog splash for a two count. Best Friends break it up, but Boudreaux pulls Beretta to the floor. Taylor come over and delivers a shot to Boudreaux. Beretta spears Boudreaux into the barricade, and then Cassidy delivers the Orange Punch.
Cassidy and Best Friends send Boudreaux over the barricade. Cassidy goes up top, but Kiss knocks him down on the top. J hits a diving reverse DDT on Cassidy and goes for the cover, but Cassidy kicks out. Kiss tries to help Boudreaux, but Danhausen appears and curses J. Best Friends double choke slam J and Cassidy knocks Daivari to the floor with the Orange Punch. Best Friends pick up J, and Cassidy splashes off their shoulders onto him and gets the pin fall.
Winners: Best Friends and Orange Cassidy
