Dwayne Johnson rolled back the years to his WWE days and last night opened the NFL Super Bowl LVI live in the middle of the SoFi Stadium.

Listed as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the former WWE champion stood surrounded by players as he opened the game saying, “Finally…the Super Bowl has come back…to Los Angeles!”

The Rock hit many of his WWE promo lines during the two-minute opener and introduced the Los Angeles Rams and the Cleveland Broncos before welcoming fans around the world to watch the game.

The video, shared by the NFL Twitter account, already has over 2 million views.

It was a busy few weeks for Johnson as he also participated in the opening movie for the Winter Olympics and did a promo for NBC for Super Gold Sunday, the first time in history that the Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics took place on the same day.
