Keith Lee comments on AEW debut
New AEW star Keith Lee took to Twitter today with his first public comments since making his debut on AEW Dynamite last night.
As noted, Lee made his AEW debut last night on Dynamite from Atlantic City and defeated Isiah Kassidy in a Face of The Revolution Ladder Match qualifier, earning his spot at the upcoming AEW Revolution pay-per-view. The winner of the ladder match will receive a future title shot against TNT Champion Sammy Guevara.
In an update, Lee, who changed his Twitter name to “All E Leet” today, thanked his supporters for the warm welcome back and looked ahead to the future.
“We got a lot of work to do still. But I more than appreciate the warm welcome back. The person with the sign that had the same silhouette that’s on the front of my hoodie…. thank you. Touched my soul. And with sad family times hopefully behind me….let’s grind. #ForwardMarch,” Lee wrote.

It’;s going to be really great seeing Keith Lee do the six things he was most known for in NXT/WWE a hundred times a match. “Limitless” is more like “limited by the narrow definition of cool by a VERY niche and narrow fanbase.” I wish Lee and AEW nothing but the best but there’s something not quite “pro wrestling” about AEW. It’s more “performance art” to me and I can’t really stand that, especially when I see it in NJPW and WWE. Gran that money while you can, I guess! THis is one fan who wants better from ALL of wrestling and wants to see a true PRO WRESTLING alternative. Like the early 90’s, everybody is trying to out-WWE the WWE. I can barely stomach WWE, how can I be expected to stomach WWE-lite? Good luck to Lee and all the rest. They, we, all deserve better, though.
