  1. Nolo King says:

    What a joke. Someone who wouldnt even be in the midcard of WWE’s main roster? Give me a break.

  2. DB says:

    No option for the likes of Jordynne Grace and a few others in different promotions? Disappointing poll.

  3. Jon says:

    How did Britt beat Deonna who had a way better year than Britt

  4. What? says:

    @Jon: The short answer is more people voted for her. The slightly longer answer is more people voted for her because more people have heard of her and/or were aware of what she has done in the last year because she’s in a promotion that large numbers of people are actually paying attention to. It isn’t just about ability or accomplishments, it’s about recognition, which is in large part why someone from WWE won six of the seven years before this one. As with many other things people vote on, a lot of people don’t do in-depth research on every candidate on the ballot, they just vote for what they know, and at least in the U.S. WWE and AEW are the only promotions consistently airing nationwide, so that’s what people know – especially casual fans, who also vote in these polls. That isn’t a knock on Deonna or Impact, it’s just the way things are right now.

    @Nolo King
    And yet she was more entertaining then everyone in WWE, including the main eventers. Go figure… You think it might be because the bar’s so low you can’t even trip over it?

  6. Joseph says:

    I watched a few of her matches and while I find her entertaining I have to wonder. Does she do anything original?

  7. Impact's Womens division is it says:

    I’ve never gotten Britt Baker’s appeal. She has improved some lately but she’s still nothing great. Kahn and some (very ardent) AEW fans act as if she’s some wrestling great – she’s not.

    Bianca or Deonna would’ve been better picks.
