Possible plans for Men’s Royal Rumble
WWE is reportedly considering a “Forbidden Door” entrant for the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
As noted, WWE announced 19 wrestlers for the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match this past Friday, including Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James. In an update, word now, via @Wrestlevotes, is that WWE is expected to try and have an “unexpected” entrant from the so-called Forbidden Door particpiate in the Men’s Rumble as well.
There is no word on who WWE might be looking at for the Men’s Rumble, but they are at least open to the idea of a non-WWE talent working the 30-Man Rumble Match as well.
The 2022 Royal Rumble will take place on January 29 from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
Stay tuned for updates.
I’m just hoping some more storylines come over from the forbidden door to WWE. Watching a week of WWE programming just shows how unorganized it is. Some people get good stuff that actually helps them, others are slugging through some thrown together mess.
Considering we shouldn’t expect this “surprise” to win, i’d be happy if it would be an Impact wrestler who has been in WWE before that could use a little rub getting a cool Rumble moment. Or maybe they’ll want to give Josh Alexander another cool moment before his rematch with Moose.
This forbidden door stuff is so cringe, especially when it all it means is someone from an inferior show is just going to lose in a meaningless match.
MJF
It will definitely NOT be MJF.
I’m willing to bet it’ll be Nick Aldis.
It’s going to be Moose. They are already planting the seeds for that on Twitter.
