Report on AEW morale

Nov 15, 2021 - by Marc Middleton

AEW morale is said to be high coming out of Saturday’s Full Gear pay-per-view.

It was noted by Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast how locker room morale is “very high” coming out of the pay-per-view with a feeling that AEW investing into its future stars is paying off.

“Morale is very high with the locker room. The investment AEW has made in its future stars is paying dividends,” a source noted.

Full Gear was headlined by “Hangman” Adam Page capturing the AEW World Title from Kenny Omega, the debut of Jay Lethal, and more. You can click here for our full recap.

Stay tuned for more.

    I wonder if that “one source” is Tony Kahn?

    “We’re all about future stars”

    …..Bryan is like 40 (went over), Punk is 40ish (went over), Kingston is in his 40s I’d think (lost to other old dude), Jericho is in his 50s, (went over BUT does have younger guys in stable)…..outside of building Adam Page, MJF, and Darby…what younger stars?

    @Pisto

    Stone Cold was the biggest star in WWE history, Vince said so himself. He came from the competition 😀

    @Joe A–As was Hogan, Michaels, Undertaker Macho Man, HHH, etc. Funny how people think Vince created everyone from the ground up. But we gotta give credit where credit is due, Vince gives wrestlers a bigger stage to work on.

    Stunning Steve Austin came from the WCW and he wasn’t anywhere near the star he came to be. It wasn’t until going to the the WWE that he became Stone Cold Steve Austin. Same with the Undertaker and HHH. Mean Mark Callous didn’t become the Undertaker until he went to the WWE. I can’t even remember HHH’s name in WCW, but he didn’t become the HHH the Game until he went to the WWE.

    I call BS that dude doesn’t remember the masterpiece that was Terra Ryzing…….

  9. art123guy says:

    @Joseph-HHH was Terra Ryzing. AEW is barely 3 years old, they would have been crazy not to have brought in most of the ex WWE wrestlers that they have, but they do need to be careful and not overdo it. Also, no company is gonna get anyone over like those mentioned in today’s world.

    @art123

    Thanks for proving my point, friend.

    The other guy was trying to crap on their business, like Vince didn’t do the exact same thing, many many years ago (and still does!)
