Dolph Ziggler comments on “pathetic” fan behavior

Aug 6, 2021 - by Marc Middleton

Veteran WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler took to Twitter this week to call out “pathetic” fans who complain about part-timers like WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg returning, then pop when he actually returns.

Ziggler responded to a WWE tweet that looked back at Goldberg’s 2019 return for the SummerSlam squash over Ziggler.

“The same fans that do nothing but constantly complain online about stuff like this, legit squeal for joy when it happens. Pathetic,” Ziggler wrote in response.

One fan responded and wrote, “Wasn’t this Vince pumping crowd noise through the speakers?”

Ziggler wrote back, “Do you really believe that’s what happened here?”

Goldberg will challenge WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam on August 21 in Las Vegas. Ziggler has been working the SmackDown tag team division with Robert Roode as of late.

So the vocal minority, hardcore IWC marks who live on Twitter are, also, definitely the cheers in the arenas behind Goldberg … OK. More likely, they are the smattering of boos that get drowned out by the cheers of all the non-hardcore IWC marks in the arenas. “Ding dong … hello”. 🙄

Maybe some of those minority hardcore IWC marks are only hardcore online.
