Nikki Cross Debuts New Look on RAW
Nikki Cross debuted her new super hero look during tonight’s WWE RAW.
Cross reunited with Alexa Bliss to defeat Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax in a Women’s Money In the Bank Ladder Match qualifier.
Cross cut a pre-match backstage promo and talked about how she’s felt a spark inside her as of late, following her recent wins over Charlotte Flair and RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. She has been working on how to display the spark in her heart, and she’s excited to share it with fans. She went on to say that no matter how far down we might fall in life, we share the same positivity and spirit to win. Cross said she represents everyone and their shortcomings, and this new look embodies everything we all have inside of us – spirit.
Cross controlled most of the tag team match on RAW, and rolled Baszler up for the win after Bliss caused a scene at ringside with Jax and Reginald.
There’s no word yet on what WWE has planned for Cross after this, or if she will continue to team with Bliss, but we will keep you updated. Bliss and Cross join Naomi and Asuka as confirmed participants for the Women’s Money In the Bank Ladder Match on July 18, which will feature 4 more Superstars.
Stay tuned for more. You can see shots of Cross and her new look in tonight’s RAW match with Bliss below:
Question…. why?
Bliss has become the crazy one while Cross has become the sane one. It used to be the other way around before Bliss and Fiend met.
Molly Holly 2.0 is all I see
Geez. No!
@Mackdeezy Vince loves super heroes…I guess?
Side note: This is just an awful…awful gimmick…
@BK
Maybe he’s trying to recreate the “Hurricane” gimmick. Who knows? I saw a few minutes of it this morning on Youtube. Awful. And why would they do this? It makes no sense.
Are Hurricane and Rosey back together? Because that outfit looks like SH*T. (Super Hero in Training, remember?). 😒
At least (the VERY least), Nikki Cross is actually on tv and being used (incorrectly) but ya gotta take what they give ya.
Maybe in his old age, Vince loves women in masks and capes.
Why has the WWE never had a super villian?
My only problem with this is that it came out of nowhere.
Y’all seem to be forgetting merchandising and all the kids that watch WWE. Hell, I’d do the same thing if it can sell more merchandise – and especially get me used on TV. Pretty smart move on her part. Think “more money in my pocket” and you will better understand this move.
@Joseph–Right? I mean, they just had her in the 2 minute match ups with Ripley and Charlotte. You’d think they coulda used that as a reason for her transformation into a super hero.
Now that we know it was her idea, at least somewhat, that puts me at ease a bit.
I was nervous because i was thinking “oh no, they’re giving her a generic gimmick where if it doesnt catch on, they’re ginna release her because they otherwise have no ideas for her.
I agree with Stonz. People are complaining just for the sake of complaining,
I doubt any kid would have any interest in this cheap looking superhero outfit worn by an out of shape jobber.
If you’re still watching this you have severe mental issue
