  1. Revan says:

Also Jericho: “…we are just worried about our own stuff. We don’t care what WWE or NXT does.”

  2. Luke says:

Don’t recall a single zombie in wrestling in 1991. Unless you count Taker…

  3. Matthew P Lightizer says:

“Former WWE Champion Batista sent some of his “Army of the Dead” zombies to tonight’s WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view.

We noted earlier how Batista tweeted a pre-show tweet and said he couldn’t make it to the pay-per-view, but some of his “friends” would be there. It was previously announced that Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead” movie would be sponsoring WrestleMania Backlash. Those “friends” of The Animal’s were a large group of zombies.” – from the Batista narrates WrestleMania Backlash intro article

Batista denies that zombies had anything to do with him.

@Matthew P Lightizer–Batista said he didn’t book it, not that it didn’t have anything to do with him.

@Revan–Jericho’s comment is a direct jab at WWE’s comment a week or 2 ago about AEW’s War Games setting the wrestling business back 30 years.

Well considering most of the show was just generic matches of people in tights doing moves, it made the match stand out more. Even though given it’s just a one-off polish it’s not like WWE is going to learn anything from it. The main roster’s most intricate character is still riding the bench.

But to any fans that think there’s anything interesting about what a bunch of WWE and AEW put of these days, you lost me.

But if Jericho “doesn’t care what WWE or NXT does” why is he commenting about something they said two weeks ago? Concentrate on their own thing and stop signing ex WWE talent.

  7. Taxx W. Hoodchicken says:

It actually set the business back to 2006 , when The Zombie (R.I.P. Timmy Arson) debuted on ECW 1.
