– Ballester debuted as ‘AR Fox’ for IWA Mid-South on July 24, 2009, defeating Jake Diamond

– Fox debuted for EVOLVE at EVOLVE 7, defeating Rich Swann
– Fox won the first EVOLVE Style Battle Tournament, defeating Sami Callihan in the final
– At Dragon Gate USA’s 2nd Anniversary Show, Fox defeated Pinkie Sanchez
