Biography

– Reed played college football at the University of Central Missouri and was signed to the Kansas City Chiefs for 1976, but was cut before the season began.
– Reed trained for a wrestling career shortly thereafter, and would debut in 1978
– On December 30, 1980, Reed & Jerry Roberts defeated Mike George & Bob Sweetan to win the NWA Central States Tag Team Titles, but would lose them to The Kelly Twins (Mike & Pat) within a month
– On April 11, 1982, Reed & Sweet Brown Sugar defeated Dory Funk Jr & David Von Erich to win the NWA North American Tag Team Titles
– On April 25, Reed & Sugar defeated Hiro Matsuda & Chris Markoff to retain the NWA North American Tag Team Titles
