During the latest episode of Talk Is Jericho, former AEW champion Chris Jericho revealed that he had coronavirus in September and it was the first time that he’s saying it publicly.

“I had zero symptoms. I had my ten days in isolation and stayed away from everybody. I didn’t have a symptom. I didn’t even know that I had it,” Jericho said.

He got to find out when he went to take the test even though he was asymptomatic and had a surprise reaction to the positive outcome. Jericho said he took three further tests to make sure it was not a false positive but they all came positive. “I didn’t have a headache. I didn’t have a cough, which is a lucky thing,” he continued.

Jericho was the subject of several online criticism after he and his band Fozzy decided to play a concert during Sturgis in August. That event led to approximately 250,000 new infections.

Fellow AEW star Nick Jackson also revealed last week that he had COVID-19 in September.
