Update on a physical WWE hall of fame
While speaking to ESPN’s The Jump, Ric Flair revealed something very interesting about the physical WWE Hall Of Fame. It’s apparently on the way, and it’s coming to Orlando.
“WWE is actually in the process of building a Hall of Fame, a physical structure in Orlando. It’s been delayed too, due to COVID.”
He was asked if the designers of Damian Lillard’s latest Adidas signature shoe, Dame7 (inspired by Flair’s Golden Robe), did justice to his robe’s design, he said:
“They did. I’ve worn [sic] like 36-38 robes [in my wrestling career]. I can’t remember the exact number. That was one of my favorite robes.”
He also revealed that WWE has bought the robe to showcase it in the physical Hall Of Fame.
“They purchased the robe and wanted to put that in there. It would be something that I wore [that they would be showcasing] in the Hall.”
The Nature Boy also joked that he wants to become the first 3-time Hall Of Famer by being inducted into WWE’s entertainment wing of the Hall Of Fame.
“They’ve been tremendous to me in so many different levels. But I’m after them now to give me a thing for the entertainment wing of the HOF.”
