Biography

– Yano was a decorated Greco-Roman wrestler while attending Nihon University
– Yano entered NJPW’s Toukon Club in April 2001 and would formally join the promotion the following January
– Yano debuted on May 18, 2002, his 24th birthday, losing to Blue Wolf
– Yano won his first match on September 17, 2002, teaming with Yutaka Yoshie to defeat TEAM2000 (Hiro Saito & Tatsutoshi Goto)
– At Wrestling World 2004, Yano & Shinya Makabe defeated Wataru Inoue & Blue Wolf
