– Apart from his real name, Makabe has also used the ring names Togi Makabe, Sweet Gorilla & Maruyama. He has also gained the nicknames New Japan’s Violent Cop, The KingKong, Death Match King, Bousou King Kong (Runaway King Kong) & The Unchained Gorilla.
