Biography

– Doering debuted on December 19, 2004, losing to D-Ray 3000 at a BCW event in Windsor, Ontario
– Doering appeared as an enhancement talent on the Turning Point 2005 pre-show, teaming with Buck Quartermain & Jon Bolen in a loss to Lance Hoyt, Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas
– In mid-2006, Doering had a run in Puerto Rico’s WWC as ‘Hans von Doering’
– In June 2007, Doering began working for All Japan. He would sign with the company in September after completing his ‘study period’
– Doering teamed with Keiji Muto to win the 2007 AJPW Real World Tag League, defeating Satoshi Kojima & Suwama in the final
– On January 3, 2008, Doering & Muto defeated Satoshi Kojima & TARU to win the AJPW Tag Team Titles
– On April 29, Doering & Muto defeated Zodiac & TARU to retain the AJPW Tag Team Titles
– In January 2010, it was reported that Doering had signed a WWE developmental contract. He reported to FCW in February, initially retaining his ring name, before rebranding to ‘Drake Brewer’
– In September 2010, Brewer was released from his WWE deal and would be back in All Japan before the end of the year

– On December 5, 2015, Doering defeated Chris Raaber to win the EWA World Title
– Early in 2016, Doering was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He was forced out of action for a year, but would make a full recovery
– Doering returned to action for All Japan in January 2017, reforming Evolution alongside Hikaru Sato & Suwama

– On the March 24, 2022 episode of Impact, Violent By Design (Doering & Young) defeated The Good Brothers (Gallows & Anderson) in a Lumberjack Match to retain the Impact Tag Team Titles
– At Rebellion 2022, Violent By Design (Doering & Young) won an 8-team Elimination Challenge Match to retain the Impact Tag Team Titles
– In August 2022, Doering announced that he had suffered a recurrence of the brain tumour and would be undergoing further surgery
