ROH Pure Title Tournament Finals for Block A & Block B

This week opens up with Quinn McKay reviewing promos from each of the block A & B finalists.

Lethal & Gresham are going by The Foundation & both have been flying the flags of the group.

Commentary for the night is Ian Riccaboni & Caprice Coleman.

Judges for the event are Will Ferrera, Sumie Sakai & Gary Juster

This will be the first Pure Champion crowned since 2006

This round has a 30 Minute Time Limit

The Block B Final (Silver) will be:
*”The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham vs. Josh “the Goods” Woods

Referee is Joe Mandak

– Jonathan Gresham used his first rope break in the PURE title tournament in the current match & he used 2 rope breaks. Goods has used his power over Gresham. Gresham has focused on the shoulder/knee of Woods.

– Gresham wins via pinfall (rolling sunset flip) at 12:00

– We see in between the Tournament Matt Taven vs. Vincent

Vincent attacks Taven in his entrance and states a eye for a eye. Vincent brings out a table. Vincent pounds down a fighting Taven but Vincent lays Taven on a table and laughs at the following the trend. He brings out purple ladder & says this is when you forgot about the rest of us. Officials come out but Vincent fights them off and sets up the ladder. Vincent places Taven back on the table in & then he climbs the ladder Vincent says he is a god that is stronger than a king and does a Swanton Bomb onto Taven through a table. Riccaboni says get the camera off of him and a commercial hits.

We next see the EC3 promo from last week & Shane Taylor saying you didn’t mention me as the great. EC3 says just because I didn’t mention your name doesn’t mean I don’t know you. He says grow up to Taylor. EC3 says Taylor hasn’t earned his place unlike The Briscoes. Soon to come will be a 6-Man Tag with EC3 & The Briscoes vs. Shane Taylor & the Soldiers of Savagery.

The Block A Final will be:
*”The Franchise” Jay Lethal vs. “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams

Lethal is looking to become the first ever 2x Pure Title Champion.

The referee is Todd Sinclair

– Lethal used 2 rope breaks in under 5 minutes. Lethal hit a Lethal Injection but Williams used his 3rd & finals rope break to kick out.

– Williams wins via submission (Crossface) 19:29

This final of the PURE Title Tournament Championship next week will be Tracy Williams vs. Jonathan Gresham
