Betty Gilpin, one of the lead actresses in GLOW, wrote a eulogy for the show which was published by Variety, calling it the best job she’s ever had.

Gilpin, who got three Emmy Award nominations for her work on the show, said that she was sad that Netflix killed the show and credited show creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch for changing her life.

“I will be forever grateful to you,” Gilpin wrote addressing both Flahive and Mensch. “You changed my life. It’s sad and weird to end this way. But we did get to do it 30 times. I mean, I cried a lot on that subway. I never thought I’d get to do it once.”

Gilpin went on to thank a lot of people who made the show possible, including Chavo Guerrero Jr who helped the ladies train to wrestle. “The hallowed wrestling moves we learned from the great Chavo Guerrero Jr., who learned them from his father, who learned them from his,” she wrote, while also thanking Shauna Duggins for showing her how to “throw human bodies through the air and then hug them after.”
