AEW updates its COVID-19 screening protocol

All Elite Wrestling has updated its COVID-19 screening protocols following multiple positive tests after the September 9th tapings, per a report from WrestlingInc. AEW talents are now being tested at home before a secondary screening in Jacksonville. For those Unaware…According to a report from Ryan Satin, a number of AEW wrestlers were kept off last nights “Dynamite” show from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, due to recently testing positive for Covid-19.

Satin states “More Than several” talents tested positive and are currently in quarantine at a hotel near the venue. “MurderHawk” Lance Archer and Benjamin Carter were the only two people to come forward publicly so far and although Satin says he knows the names of the other wrestlers, he is withholding that information, as he does not want to violate anyone’s personal privacy.

AEW President Tony Khan has told his performers in the past that if they want to go Public, they can do so freely on social media.
