WWE & Amway Center Lease Agreement Revealed
Greg Angel of Spectrum News 13 has tweeted a copy of WWE’s lease agreement with Amway Center which reveals that the deal runs through October 31st unless both sides decide to mutually extend it or shorten it with two weeks notice. WWE’s move-in date was August 14th.
Interestingly enough, the deal also reveals that a PPV event is scheduled for September 27th. This hasn’t been announced by WWE yet.
WWE is currently paying $12,500 for Sunday events, $10,000 for Monday and Friday events, $7,500 for any other days they use the building, and $2,500 for dark days.
Just got full contract between WWE and City of Orlando.
Deal extends 78 days until October 31.
WWE is getting a great deal. Paying at least $200K to rent Amway Center.
