During a time with so much negativity in the world and in the media we think it would be great to spread awareness of any positive news that may be out there, which is why we wanted to bring attention to Shelton Benjamin making a huge contribution to veteran wrestler Chris Michaels GoFund Me account. Chris worked with Shelton, Brock Lesnar, Batista, Randy Orton, John Cena, and many more when they were getting started in Ohio Valley Wrestling. Chris was Ohio Valley Wrestling’s last ever Light Heavyweight Champion holding the title two times. He has competed for WWE, WCW, SMW amongst many others over his career. (Often confused with a wrestler with the same name who was based out of New York, Chris is based out of Kentucky and performs primarily in Kentucky & Tennessee.)

The GoFund Me was set up for Chris to help with costs associated with a recent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and bicep tendon, as well as to help with rehabilitation and time away from the ring. Below is the link where you can see Shelton donated $1,000 towards the $5,000 goal. We work with Chris regularly and think it’s awesome to see Shelton helping out a friend from when he started out and would also like to see the GoFund Me reach its goal. Any help getting the word out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
