The show opens with a quick “Black Lives Matter” video, and then transitions into a recap of last week’s happenings, including the arrival of FTR, the new feud between Jon Moxley and Brian Cage, Cody announcing the AEW TNT Championship Open Challenge, Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc becoming the number one contender’s for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, Jungle Boy becoming the number one contender for the AEW TNT Championship, and the confrontation between Chris Jericho and Mike Tyson.

The opening credits roll. Excalibur, Jim Ross, and Tony Schiavone are on commentary, and they run down the card for tonight’s show.

Match #1 – AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Adam Page and Kenny Omega (c) vs. Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian (w/Penelope Ford)
Omega and Havoc start the match, and they lock up. Omega backs Havoc into the corner, but Havoc slaps him across the face. Havoc backs Omega into the ropes and connects with a few right hands. Havoc comes off the ropes, but Omega comes back with an elbow shot. Omega runs the ropes, but Ford trips him up. Havoc delivers an elbow strike, and then takes Omega to the mat with a flapjack. Sabian tags in and kicks Omega in the back. Sabian applies a front face-lock, but Omega gets to the ropes. Sabian wraps Omega’s arm around the rope and tags in Havoc. Havoc works over Omega’s hand, but Omega comes back and sends Sabian to the floor. Omega drops Havoc to the mat and tags in Page. Page knocks Sabian down, and then kicks Havoc in the face. Omega tags back in and clubs Havoc across the back. Omega and Page double-team Havoc with chops, but Sabian comes off the ropes. Page and Omega catch him and toss him across the ring. Ford comes off the ropes for a hurricanrana on Page, but he catches her.
The referee tells Page to drop her, and then he ejects Ford from ringside. Havoc attacks Page and Omega with a wrench and goes for the cover on Page, but he kicks out. Havoc charges, but Page dodges him. Page knocks Sabian to the floor, but Havoc takes advantage and beats Page into the corner. Havoc rakes Page’s eyes and Sabian tags in. Sabian stomps on Page and goes for the cover, but Page kicks out. Havoc tags back in and delivers a shot to Page’s midsection. Sabian dropkicks Omega to the floor, and then he and Havoc double-team Page. Page fights back and delivers punches and kicks to both. Omega tags in and delivers an elbow to Sabian. Sabian comes back with a pump kick, but Omega takes him down with a hurricanrana. Havoc gets dropped with a hurricanrana as well, and then Omega slams Havoc into Sabian. Omega slams Havoc with a rolling senton, and then takes Sabian down with a Backstabber. Omega goes for the cover, but Sabian kicks out. Page tags in, and he and OMega double-team Sabian.
Page hits a tanding Shooting Star Press and goes for the cover, but Sabian kicks out. Havoc swings a hacksaw at Page, but Page ducks and kicks Havoc to the floor. Page slams Sabian and goes for the cover, but Sabian kicks out. Omega tags in and charges, but Sabian moves. Havoc slams Page into the barricade on the outside, and Sabian slams Omega to the mat. Havoc tags in and delivers an uppercut to Omega. Havoc slams Omega into Page with a Death Valley Sriver, and Sabian tags in. Sabian double stomps Omega, and Havoc tags back in. Havoc drops Omega with a DDT and goes for the cover, but Page breaks it up. Sabian tags in and kicks Omega in the face. He delivers a kick to Page on the outside, and then connects with another dropkick to Omega. Sabian drops Omega with a reverse-rana and tags in Havoc. Havoc goes for a Michinoku Driver, but Omega shoves him into Sabian. Omega drops Havoc to the mat and drops Sabian with the V Trigger. Page tags in and clotheslines Havoc and Sabian in the corner.
Omega delivers a hip attack to both an then Page delivers a German suplex to Havoc and a power bomb to Sabian. They hit Havoc with the Last Call and Page gets the pin fall.
Winners and still AEW World Tag Team Champions: Adam Page and Kenny Omega
-Page and Omega will defend the titles against Best Friends at Fyter Fest later this summer.

Footage of Tully Blanchard trying to fire up Shawn Spears airs. He says if Spears doesn’t change something in his heart, he will never achieve his goals. The video goes to later in the day, and Blanchard says he has the missing piece for Spears. He opens a box, and Spears pulls out a black glove. and puts it on.

Footage of the brawl between The Inner Circle and Mike Tyson’s posse from last week is shown, as well as Brian Cage’s Dynamite debut.

Match #2 – Singles Match: Brian Cage (w/Taz) vs. Shawn Dean
Cage attacks Dean before the bell rings and backs him into the corner. The bell rings and Cage drops Dean with a suplex. Cage puts Dean on the ropes and suplexes him to the mat. Cage slams Dean with the Drill Claw and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Brian Cage
-After the match, Taz cuts a promo on Jon Moxley. He says Moxley is not taking Cage seriously. Taz tells Moxley to beat Cage if he can, and survive if he lets him. Moxley’s music hits, and he comes to the ring. Moxley says Cage is The Machine, but he is far from indestructible. He says if Cage were to beat him, it would take him all night long. Moxley says taking the title away from him is a different prospect, and Cage will find that out at Fyter Fest. He says Cage will be in way over his head, and tells them not to waste their time trying to intimidate him.

Fyter Fest is announced as a two-night event, Wednesday, July 1st and Wednesday, July 8th.

A video package for the first line of AEW action figures airs.

Footage of Lance Archer beating up a random guy is shown. He says one loss means nothing, and he is in AEW to be a monster. He says he is going to show pain and torture like we haven’t seen before, and everybody dies.

A video of Private Party is shown. They talk about their match last week, and Marq Quen’s injury, but Matt Hardy walks in. He says he enjoyed their match last week and calls them the future of tag team wrestling. He says they remind him of The Hardy Boyz and offers his help to them whenever they need it. Isiah Kassidy calls them The Hardy Party and Hardy says he loves it and leaves. He runs into Sammy Guevara in the hallway. He says they are cool and says he respects Guevara. Hardy walks away as Guevara looks on.

Footage of Cody issuing the AEW TNT Championship Open Challenge and Jungle Boy winning the Battle Royal to become the number one contender for the TNT title is shown.

Footage of the brawl between The Inner Circle and Mike Tyson’s posse is shown again, followed by Chris Jericho arguing with Colt Cabana backstage afterwards.

Match #3 – Singles Match: Chris Jericho (w/Jake Hager and Sammy Guevara) vs. Colt Cabana
Cabana delivers a few shots in the corner, but Jericho comes back with shots of his own. Cabana comes back with more shots and throws Jericho to the floor. Cabana chops Jericho and delivers right hands on the outside. Cabana takes out Jericho and Hager with a moonsault. Cabana delivers more shots and tosses Jericho back into the ring. Cabana goes up top, but Hager shoves him down from behind as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Jericho is in control. Jericho puts his boot in Cabana’s throat in the corner. Jericho delivers ore shots and drops Cabana with a back elbow. Jericho goes for the cover, but Cabana kicks out. Jericho goes for a bulldog, but Cabana counters and crotches him on the turnbuckle. Cabana delivers a series of shots and drops Jericho with a clothesline. Cabana delivers quick jabs and a Bionic Elbow. Cabana hits the Flying Apple in the corner and comes off the ropes with a splash. Cabana goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out. Jericho comes back with an elbow shot and goes for the Lionsault, but Cabana dodges it. Cabana goes for the Superman, but Jericho counters and locks in the Liontamer. Cabana makes it to the ropes and comes back with a chop to Jericho. Cabana takes Jericho down with a hurricanrana, and clotheslines Jericho in the corner. Cabana takes Jericho down with a Frankensteiner and goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out. Cabana gets a quick roll-up, but Jericho kicks out again. Cabana stays on the offensive, but Jericho comes right back with the Judas Effect and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Chris Jericho
-After the match, Jericho says Jericho vs. Tyson is the fight everyone wants to see. He says he can taste the blood of Cabana on his hands, and now he wants to taste the blood of Tyson on his hands. He tells Tyson he is waiting for him and tells him to come to the ring right now. Orange Cassidy comes out instead. He puts Jericho’s hands in his own belt loop, and then his hands in his pockets. Hager goes for a clothesline, but Cassidy dodges it. He dodges a shot from Jericho as well and leaves the ring. Best Friends lift him over the barricade, and Santana and Ortiz get into the ring. Best Friends and Cassidy leave as The Inner Circle stare them down.

A video of Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. training for her return is shown. She gave very little effort.

Match #4 – Singles Match: Big Swole vs. Nyla Rose
Swole gets a headlock applied and delivers a few elbow shots. Swole drops Rose to the mat and keeps the headlock applied. Swole gets a roll-up, but Rose kicks out. Rose runs the ropes, but Swole comes back and applies an abdominal stretch. Rose counters with an elbow shot an hip tosses Swole to the mat. Rose charges, but Swole pulls the ropes down and Rose falls to the floor. Swole goes for a kick, but Rose trips her up on the apron. Rose slams Swole into the apron and tosses her back into the ring as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Rose delivers a back-breaker and slams Swole to the mat. Rose goes for a splash, but Swole gets her knees up. Swole delivers a few shots and a couple kicks, followed by a headbutt. Swole delivers an elbow and then a cutter. Swole goes for the cover, but Rose kicks out. Swole delivers a few more shots and then kicks Rose in the face. Swole goes for the cover, but Rose kicks out. Swole goes for the cutter again, but Rose blocks it. Swole comes back with a chop block and then kicks Rose in the head. Rose comes back with a Spear and goes for the Beast Bomb. Swole rolls through and gets a roll-up, but Rose kicks out at two. Swole goes for Dirty Dancing, but Rose comes back with the Beast Bomb and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Nyla Rose
-After the match, Swole starts an interview with Schiavone, but Baker interrupts her. Swole grabs a chair, but Baker escapes on her cart.

Earlier in the day, Schiavone interviewed Darby Allin. Allin has not been medically cleared to compete. He says life is a joke, but he will get the last laugh against Brian Cage.

Schiavone sits down with FTR. They say FTR can stand for anything they want it to. They say they want to face all the great teams in AEW. They mention The Buthcer and The Blade, Private Party, Santana and Ortiz, Lucha Brothers, and Adam Page and Kenny Omega. Schiavone says they didn’t mention The Young Bucks. They say the match against them isn’t a dream match to them and all they want to do is punch them in the mouth and beat them in three seconds. After the interview ends, Butcher and Blade storm down the stairs and get in FTR’s faces. FTR says last week was all business and challenges Butcher and Blade to a match next week.

Next week, Colt Cabana vs. Sammy Guevara; Marq Quen will challenge for the AEW TNT Championship; FTR vs. The Butcher and The Blade; Jake Hager, Santana, and Ortiz vs. Best Friends and Orange Cassidy. Announced for next week’s Dark, Jon Moxley will be in action.

Alex Marvez is backstage with Cabana. He says he fell short tonight, but he has shown he can hang with the big guys in AEW. Mr. Brodie Lee walks up and says without loss, we don’t grow. He says it’s how we respond after a loss, and says he can help Cabana with that.

Match #5 – AEW TNT Championship Match: Cody (w/Arn Anderson) vs. Jungle Boy
Cody applies a front face-lock, but Jungle Boy gets to the ropes. Cody drops Jungle Boy with a shoulder tackle, but Jungle Boy comes back with a hurricanrana. Jungle Boy goes for the cover, but Cody kicks out. Jungle Boy delivers chops in the corner, but Cody comes back with forearm shots. Cody works over Jungle Boy’s arm and takes him down with a power slam. Cody goes for the cover, but Jungle Boy kicks out. Cody stomps on Jungle Boy’s knee and locks in the Figure Four. Jungle Boy makes it to the ropes. Cody goes for the Disaster Kick, but Jungle Boy dodges it and drops Cody with a DDT. Jungle Boy goes for the cover, but Cody kicks out. Cody rolls to the outside, but Jungle Boy takes him out with a dive. Jungle Boy goes for another dive, but Cody catches him and throws him onto the wrestlers at ringside as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Cody is still in control. Cody delivers a headbutt on the outside and goes for another, but Jungle Boy moves and Cody headbutt’s the concrete wall. MJF gets in Jungle Boy’s face at ringside and they argue a bit. Cody has been busted open and Jungle Boy tosses him back into the ring. Jungle Boy delivers shits in the corner and goes after the wound. Cody tosses Jungle Boy across the ring, but Jungle Boy comes back with a dropkick. Jungle Boy gets a few roll-ups, but Cody kicks out at two each time. Cody comes back with a pump kick and sends Jungle Boy off the ropes, but Jungle Boy drops him with a clothesline. Jungle Boy goes for the cover, but Cody kicks out. Jungle Boy delivers more shots, but Cody comes back with a suplex from the ropes. Cody goes for the cover, but Jungle Boy kicks out. Cody goes for the Figure Four, but Jungle Boy kicks him away. Cody goes up top, but Jungle Boy follows him. They crash through a table on the floor. Cody gets to his feet and tosses Jungle Boy back into the ring.
Cody goes for a sunset flip, but Jungle Boy counters with a roll-up for two. Cody comes back and delivers the Cross Rhodes and gets the pin fall.
