WWE News and Notes
– Drew McIntyre on cyber bullying: “I mean… there are so many scenarios and situations around the world that are incredibly upsetting. I don’t think that Drew McIntyre is the person that should be speaking on it. I think you should just ask yourself, you know, ‘Would I like it if somebody said that to me?’ It’s as simple as that. It takes a lot of effort to not be nice and doesn’t take any effort to be nice. Just be nice.”
– Rhea Ripley on her Visa issue: “‘Yes, I had to do my visa but now i’m having to do it here because there’s no flights. I can’t get to Australia, and then if I was there I couldn’t get back out… ‘I had people from work calling me like, “Are you in Australia right now?” I’m like, “No, I’m not an idiot! No!”
– According to Dave Meltzer, WWE hasn’t tested any of their talent for COVID-19. They’re only checking their temperatures. UFC and AEW have done COVID-19 tests before allowing their talent to perform.
– Drew Gulak on the passing of Danny Havoc:
I put an old Viking proverb on a card to a friend along with a present earlier this week hoping that it would cheer him up. I was not expecting to get the horrible news that I received earlier today that Grant Berkland, aka Daniel T. Havoc had passed away.
