A GoFundMe campaign benefiting Shad Gaspard’s family has been started with the aim to reach $100,000. The GoFundMe is being organized by friends of Shad Gaspard on behalf of Shad’s widow, Siliana Gaspard.

In just one day, over $40,000 were donated from over 350 donors at time of this writing. Money raised will be able to help the family cover bills and expenses and Aryeh’s future college fund.

AEW President Tony Khan donated a very generous $10,000 while Jericho donated $5,000 and Cody and Brandi Rhodes donated $1,000.

Gaspard vanished on Sunday while swimming with his son. Lifeguards managed to save his 10-year-old after Shad directed them to save him first but unfortunately a wave crushed the former WWE Superstar, submerging him. His body washed ashore in the early hours of Wednesday morning and the LA County Coroner confirmed the identity a few hours later.
