The show opens with a video recap of all the hardships that The Elite has faced since AEW started. Excalibur, Jim Ross, and Taz are on commentary from Jacksonville, Florida. They run down the card for tonight’s show.

Match #1 – Singles Match: Cody (w/Arn Anderson) vs. Darby Allin
They lock up and exchange wrist-locks. Cody delivers a back elbow and drops Allin with a shoulder tackle. Cody goes for a few quick covers, but Allin kicks out. Cody applies a wrist-lock, but Allin counters into one of his own. Allin takes Cody to the mat and goes for the cover, but Cody kicks out. They exchange rolls ups for two and then stand at a stalemate. Allin goes for the Coffin Drop from the ropes, but Cody catches him and goes for the Cross Rhodes. Allin gets free, but Cody sends him to the floor. Cody goes to the apron, but Allin trips him up and Cody hits the apron. Allin comes off the ropes with a back elbow and then takes Cody out with a suicide dive. Cody comes back and kicks Allin in the face, but Allin slams Cody shoulder-first into the turnbuckle. Allin goes for the cover, but Cody kicks out. Cody comes back and locks in a Figure Four, but Allin rolls over and reverses the pressure. Cody rolls back over, but Allin makes it to the ropes. Allin kicks Cody into the corner and goes for the cover, but Cody kicks out again.
Allin applies an arm-bar, but Cody makes it to the ropes. Allin rips a turnbuckle pad off and slams Cody into the opposite corner. Cody comes back and takes Allin down and goes for the cover, but Allin kicks out. Cody drops Allin with a power slam and then kicks him in the face. Cody delivers a series of right hands in the corner and delivers the Cody Cutter. Cody goes for the cover, but Allin kicks out at two as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Allin delivers a Stunner and goes up top for the Coffin Drop. Cody rolls out of the way, but Allin connects with the Coffin Drop on the apron. Allin tosses Cody back into the ring, but Cody goes for the Cody Cutter. Allin dodges and goes for the Stunner, but Cody catches him and drops him with the Cross Rhodes. Cody goes for the cover, but Allin kicks out. Cody charges at Allin, but Allin moves and Cody hits the exposed turnbuckle. Allin goes for the Coffin Drop, but Cody gets his knees up and rolls up Allin for the pin fall.
Winner: Cody

Jenn is backstage with SCU. Scorpio Sky says everyone wants to step up and challenge for their AEW World Tag Team Championship. They run down the other tag teams in AEW and then Sammy Guevara interrupts. He says Santana and Ortiz will deal with them and says Kazarian and Sky have the titles, but asks what Christopher Daniels has. He says Daniels has wrinkles on his face, but he may not have it anymore. Daniels challenges him to a match next week.

AEW Women’s World Championship – Four-Way Match: Riho (c) vs. Nyla Rose vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. vs. Hikaru Shida
Rose takes the title and knocks Baker down with it. Shida hits Rose with a kendo stick and the bell rings. Shida takes Rose to the mat and goes for the cover, but Rose kicks out and rolls to the floor. Riho dropkicks Shida into the corner and then sends Baker to another corner. Shida sends Riho to the corner, but Riho hits Baker with a forearm. Shida drops Riho withan arm drag and then Rose takes Shida down on the floor. Rose grabs a table and sets it up. Riho takes out Shida with a cross-body from the top and then Rose slams Riho into the table and places her on top of it as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, all four women are back in the ring. Shida takes Rose down with a back body drop and goes for a suplex, but Rose counters and drapes Shida over the top rope. Rose goes up top and connects with a knee strike to Shida. Rose puts Shida on the table and connects with a senton from the apron through the table. Riho connects with a double stomp to Rose and then Baker drops Rose with a DDT in the ring. Baker goes for the cover, but Rose kicks out. Baker goes for Lockaw, but Rose rolls through and delivers a power bomb. Rose goes for the cover, but Riho breaks it up. Riho rolls Rose up and delivers another double stomp. Riho goes up top and delivers a third double stomp. Riho goes for the cover, but Baker kicks her in the face. Baker drops Riho with a neck-breaker and goes for the cover, but Riho kicks out. Shida comes back and suplexes Baker back into the ring. Shida trips Rose up and suplexes Riho into Rose in the corner. Shida delivers a back-breaker to Baker and goes for the cover, but Rose grabs Shida and delivers a suplex.
Rose slams Riho down and sets her on top of Shida. Rose goes for a senton, but Shida and Riho dodge it. Riho hits double knees on Rose and goes for the cover, but Shida breaks it up. Shida slams Rose to the mat and goes for the cover, but Rose kicks out. Baker delivers a superkick to Shida and then applies Lockjaw. Shida rolls her up for two, and then Riho rolls up Baker and gets the pin fall.
Winner and still AEW Women’s World Champion: Riho
-After the match, Rose lays Riho out with a clothesline. Rose sets up a table and puts Riho on it. Rose goes up top and splashes onto Riho through the table.

Alex Marvez is with Joey Janela backstage. Penelope Ford comes up from behind and lays Janela out with a low blow. Kip Sabian walks up and leaves with Ford.

A video for The Dark Order airs, showing the group and their Creepers beating down The Elite two weeks ago.

Match #3 – Singles Match: Jon Moxley vs. Trent (w/Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy)
Moxley drops Trent and applies a side headlock. Trent counters into one of his own, but Moxley gets free. Moxley comes back with a few chops and drapes Trent over the top rope as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Moxley is in control on the outside. He slams Trent into the barricade, but Trent comes back with a Spear. They get back into the ring and Trent chops Moxley into the corner. Moxley comes back and goes for a clothesline, but Trent drops him with a half-and-half suplex. Moxley rolls to the floor, but Trent takes him out with a suicide dive. Trent tosses Moxley back into the ring and delivers an elbow in the corner. Trent drops Moxley with a DDT and goes for the cover, but Moxley kicks out. Moxley come back with a knee strike and slams Trent to the mat. Moxley goes for the cover, but Trent kicks out. They exchange roll-ups and then Moxley drops Trent with a clothesline. Trent comes back with one of his own and goes for the cover, but Moxley kicks out. Cassidy gets into the ring and puts his hands in his pockets. Moxley does the same, but Trent delivers a knee strike. Trent delivers the pile-driver and goes for the cover, but Moxley kicks out.
Moxley comes back and takes Trent to the outside and drops him with the Paradigm Shift on the entrance ramp. Moxley gets Trent back into the ring and delivers a brain buster and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Jon Moxley
-After the match, Sammy Guevara mocks Moxley’s entrance through the crowd and gets to the ring apron. Guevara pulls out some 2020 New Year celebratory items and says The Inner Circle has a big surprise for Moxley. Chris Jericho appears on the screen and says Moxley is the premier wrestler in the world and that’s why they want him to join them. Jericho says he wants Moxley to lead The Inner Circle with him. Jericho offers Moxley 49% of The Inner Circle, LLC. He says Moxley can be the Executive Vice President of The Inner Circle and says they have bought Moxley a new car if he says yes. He says he wants them to beat the hell out of Cody and Kenny Omega and says the world can be theirs. He tells Moxley to make his decision wisely and he looks forward to hearing from him and leaves in the car.
Moxley grabs a microphone and says he has always considered Jericho a friend and a mentor. He says out of respect, he will give Jericho his answer, in person, next week. Moxley says the whole world will figure out what’s in store for 2020 next week.

Match #4 – Singles Match: Sammy Guevara vs. Dustin Rhodes
Rhodes decks Guevara from behind in the ring and then drops him with a clothesline. Rhodes stomps on Guevara and delivers a few chops. Rhodes tosses Guevara across the ring and takes him out with a front flip senton on the floor. Rhodes tosses Guevara back into the ring and climbs up, but Jake Hager appears on the entrance ramp. Guevara rolls out of the ring and Rhodes goes to meet him. Guevara cuts Rhodes off, but Rhodes drops him with a power slam on the floor. Rhodes tosses Guevara back into the ring and stares down Hager. Guevara dropkicks Rhodes and gets back into the ring as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, Guevara has Rhodes in a headlock back in the ring. Hager still looks on from the outside as Guevara keeps the headlock applied. Guevara sends Rhodes off the ropes, but Rhodes comes back with a roll-up for two. Guevara takes Rhodes down again and goes for the cover, but Rhodes kicks out. Guevara goes up top, but Rhodes moves and drops Guevara with a power slam. Rhodes drops Guevara with a few shots and delivers an uppercut. Rhodes delivers an inverted atomic drop and takes Guevara down with a spine-buster. Rhodes goes for the cover, but Guevara kicks out. Guevara delivers an enzuigiri and connects with a standing Shooting Star Press. Guevara goes for the cover, but Rhodes kicks out. Rhodes comes back with plants Guevara with a Destroyer on the apron. Rhodes goes for the cover but Hager gets on the apron. Rhodes drops Hager with a right hand and sends Guevara out onto Hager. Rhodes tosses Guevara back into the ring and puts him in the corner. Rhodes for the Unnatural Kick, but the referee cuts him off.
Hager gets into the ring and delivers a low blow to Rhodes. Guevara rolls into the cover and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Sammy Guevara

Jenn Decker is with Private Party. Adam Page shows up behind the bar and they say they are worried about him. He says he can whoop both of their asses and tells them Happy New Year before walking away.

MJF makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Wardlow. MJF lists out his stipulations for having a match with Cody. He says the match can happen at Revolution, but if Cody touches him before then the match will never happen. He says Cody has to go one-on-one with Wardlow and beat him to get the match at Revolution. MJF says Cody’s match with Wardlow will be a Steel Cage Match. He says the final stipulation for the match to happen is that he gets to whip Cody ten times with his leather belt.

Jenn is with Jurassic Express. Jungle Boy says he did what nobody thought he could do when he hung with Chris Jericho for 10 minutes two weeks ago. He says 2020 will be a big year and he is looking for a win.

Adam Page has joined the commentary team.

Alex Marvez is backstage with Riho, but Britt Baker interrupts her. Baker says she is here every week, unlike Riho. Baker says Riho stole the win tonight and is heading right back out. Baker leaves and Michael Nakazawa translates for Riho, and says she is going to do her best against Kris Statlander next week. Also next week, Cody and Dustin Rhodes will take on Lucha Brothers. Additionally, Page and Kenny Omega vs. Privaty Party.

Match #5 – Six-Man Tag Team Match: The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson)) vs. Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) and PAC
Omega and PAC start the match, but PAC immediately tags in Pentagon. Omega delivers a few chops and Pentagon comes back with a few of his own. Omega comes off the ropes, but PAC delivers a knee to Omega’s back. Pentagon takes advantage and takes in Fenix. Omega comes back with a double basement dropkick and tags in Nick. Nick applies a side headlock and takes Fenix down. Nick tosses Fenix across the ring and then delivers a dropkick. Fenix goes to the outside and kicks Nick in the head and then delivers a dropkick back into the ring. They go for kicks in the ring and shoulder tackles, but neither man gets the advantage and stand at a stalemate as the show heads to a commercial.
Back from the break, PAC pulls Omega to the floor and takes him out with a suicide dive. PAC tosses Omega into the ring and officially tags in. PAC chokes Omega with his boot in the corner and then Lucha Brothers get in a few shots as well. Omega gets free and tags in Nick. Nick delivers a few shots to PAC and knocks Lucha Brothers to the floor. Nick slams PAC to the floor and tags in Matt. Nick delivers a Destroyer to PAC and then the Bucks take out Lucha Brothers with Destroyers as well. Omega tags in and offers the first shot to PAC. They exchange shots and kicks and then PAC delivers a snap German suplex. Omega comes back with a knee strike and a snap German of his own. Omega delivers a power bomb and goes for the cover, but Pentagon breaks it up. Pentagon drops the Bucks with Slingblades and then drops Omega with a Backstabber. Fenix tags in, but The Bucks double superkick Pentagon. Fenix drops the Bucks with a double Cutter, but Omega delivers a running knee. Omega drops Fenix with a snap suplex, but Fenix comes back with a cutter.
PAC tags in and hits the Black Arrow from the top and goes for the cover, but the Bucks break it up. PAC locks in the Brutalizer, but Matt kicks PAC in the head. The Bucks kick Pentagon to the floor and then Fenix tags in. Fenix comes off the ropes, but Omega knees him in the face. Omega plants Fenix with the One Winged Angel and gets the pin fall.
Winners: The Elite
-After the match, Cody joins The Young Bucks and Omega in the ring and they invite Adam Page to join them. He gives them a thumbs up, but doesn’t join them in the ring.
